Pierre Bonnard, the Player of Light | Documentary

Ойын-сауық

Pierre Bonnard navigated the boundary between the culmination of impressionism and the influential Nabi movement, in which he held a prominent position. Gradually, he diverged from established artistic norms, forging a distinctive artistic approach. Bonnard's expertise lay in capturing personal moments, encompassing indoor settings, unclothed figures, and glimpses of the garden through windows. Employing luminous hues and skillful play with light, he infused his subjects with vitality and authenticity.

It’s very hard to listen to two voices of different languages simultaneously……. Other than that…. Thank you for these wonderful videos on famous artists

It could have been worse. I've seen some videos where it seems that the videographer or whoever it is who decides these things set the original speaker's voice at almost the same volume, or so it seemed, as the dubbed translation. so that the voices simply accomplished nothing more than a mutually canceling cacophony.

Less authority and more genuine interest on the part of the narrator seems more appropriate.

My thoughts exactly but you have put it more kindly. I was wondering if the voice overs or translations were robots. There are a few mistakes that a thinking person wouldn't make, like the girl says the hills were less inhibited intead of inhabited. Also the intonation is wrong as if the being speaking doesn't understand the meaning... its a shame because the rest of it is very good.

Tous les peintres ont joué avec la lumière....pas particulièrement Bonnard...La lumière n'est pas sa principale recherche... Ah! Le commerce de l'art!!!
