The first time through I was captivated by Savanna's voice, the second time through Mat's clear tones and harmonies captured me, the third time through the chorus captured me with their smooth beauty. Incredibly beautiful. I've loved this piece for. long time -- and liked and disliked different renditions, but this one, this one!!!, is by far the best arrangement. Just breath-taking.

Her voice and range are fantastic. I lost my dear daughter 3 months ago. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. I imagine her in heaven now, wonderfully happy and singing with the angels. Thank you for that.

Maryann, my deepest sympathy on your devastating loss. That is a wonderful thought you have of her in heaven. My son, Danny, passed away unexpectedly in 2019 at the age of 28. I imagine him in heaven playing basketball with others and teaching children how to play. 🏀🙏

In the light of such unbelievable evil, one can only cast our hope and our eyes on Merciful Jesus Christ, Pie Jesu, who brings ultimate rest and healing in his presence in heaven. Come Lord Jesus!

Simply exquisite. By far the best rendition of this glorious piece I've ever heard (or will ever hear for that matter)! Savanna, as everybody agrees, your singing is flawless, but let's not forget Mat, whose singing is equally flawless, or the SOLID support of the wonderful Lux Singers. Absolutely breathtakingly stunning! The venue, and the addition of the chorus, along with your voices, all multiplied the beauty of the piece. Not many in this day and age can truly appreciate sacred choral music. This is one of my contemporary favorites, and Andrew Lloyd Webber is a master of the genre. I fell in love with Pie Jesu the first time I heard it, and was blessed that my niece was able to sing it for my mother’s ( her grandmother) funeral. Contemporary music is awesome, but never forget that the sacred also has its place. “ He who sings, prays twice “. Well done Shaw Family, et Al.

Our son sang this years ago with The Colorado Springs Children's Chorale, a choir that has traveled the world. They did a magnificent job of it and it has always been a favorite. Matt and Savannah, this was lovely!

This is by far my favorite video that you have done. I understand why it is Mat's favorite. Savanna's voice has such range and clarity, simply angelic. You both are inspiring. Magnificent! Mat and Savanna always produce wonderful music. The chorale and setting added great beauty and meaning.

Holy smoke but that's gorgeous! Although ... when Savanna sung it live before Christmas it was even better! Imagine being better than perfection. .. I love the attention to detail and the hours of practice that have gone into making this difficult piece sound relaxed and natural. More songs from the classical repertoire would be a great way to go now, along with more big bands and a school choirs. So many options for you two. Xxx

Savanna’s voice has matured so much in the last two years. It was really good before, but now it is gorgeous. I was in the higher choral groups in hs. I love hearing songs in Latin. What Satan means for evil, God makes for good. Your singing is a testament to that. I think you should each do a solo album, as well.
