in reference to the background check/investigation during the hiring process... what is review? is it employment, criminal record, credit score... what consists in a background check?

Everything you can think of but start with the core 4 criminal, substance, work history, credit history
Is one hour 15 mins one way commute enough? That’s 2 hours 30 mins commute Without traffic. 53 miles one way

Thank you for the video! Great information as always. I’m currently in backgrounds. The department I’m applying to has a 3rd party background investigator. I had a video call meeting last Wednesday. He mentioned we would schedule an at home visit soon, and to email him a more detailed description of my prior substance use that was over 10 years ago. I emailed that Thursday morning and I haven’t heard back. Is no news, good news in this situation?

Man, what a great subject. I recently left my department for another. Simply because of toxic leadership. New guys, money isn’t everything. Happiness is worth getting paid less.

Question-If you have i had a brief bout w anxiety and was prescribed meds but was quickly off of them and recovered-is this retrievable info by dept diring testing?
