I've been out of the hobby for about 10 years it's great to see people still building 100 mph rustlers

Enjoyed the vid, thanks. I love my rustler. I have a cheap 4370 brushless 60amp ESC combo. Cost £40 and it gets me 50mph on the stock gearing. Not tried it with the 28/86 gears yet.

My Rustler VXL is 13 years old and still has the original motor. New ESC and Spektrum Transmitter and Receiver. It is crazy fast!

I recently upgraded my 2wd rustler to a drag truck with the vxl 3s system man shes a ripper!!!

It's insane how many after market parts are available for the Rustler. Thanks for going over the car in such great detail. The Rustler is a great car. Αωєѕσмє 👍👍

I got the Brushed version, got bored & put a Castle in it, Huge tires on the back (Trenchers I think ) bumper & wheelie bar. Looks crazy with the big tires on back & stock on front. That thing RIPS... Wheelies whenever I want, at Any speed. Only broken 1 part, its made tough. Couldn’t imagine driving at 100mph. I would Definitely have to weigh my front end down because it wheelies at half throttle & flips at full. On 2S.

Yes the battery and charger are the thing you should spend a bit more on. My battery overheated and melted a hole in the chassis.

What is the part number for the integy axles your running... I want to get some new axles and I'm not sure what to get I was considering traxxas splined cvd but I don't know what to get... I'm going to be running a ezrun max 8 soon

How is it that you can get 70mph out of it stock with the 25/83 or even the 28/83 setup on a 3S Lipo. I've never seen it done and would like to do it to my VXL Rustler??

Are the RPM arms wider than stock? Or, same width but with wider lower mount options?

Get rit fabric dye and dye the chasis black it looks soo nice... there are a lot of videos of people dying their chasis I've done it and it comes out awsome

We race two stock brushed Rustlers with anaconda's, best RC cars we have and never had any real issues with them...

u can also build a LCG stampede with 1

i did suscrible✌️ i do hit 100 mph whit my rustler 4x4 and soon my rustler 2wd will be eaven faster✌️

The black car with the castle system has slash 4x4 arms in the front

Love my Rustler- but it won't even come close to 70 out of the box- even with the high speed gear they give you... 55-60 MAYBE with a 3s....

I have a 4 x 4 rustler and a 2 Wheel Dr. rustler both of them fully upgraded with every hopper part available both of them with conversion kit so that I can run GRP‘s both of them with CBD drive shops I mean they have everything both of them running the Valerian system I’ve ran every pinion and spur gear ratio possible and I can only get high 60s low 70s that’s after all the upgrades Traxxas lies the wrestlers do not do 70 miles an hour out of the box. I have an armor in fraction that has about $1500 worth of hot racing aluminum and it’s running ceramic bearings on a success system with GCRC fans yada yada yada it does 80 miles an hour as advertised but just barely so when you say that rustler does 70 miles an hour out of the box that’s just bullshit because my armor in fraction barely does 80 miles an hour out of the box wrestlers are good cars but Traxxas lies and rustlers are only good cars just like the rest of Traxxas products once you buy all the hop ups

Run your 2wd vxl on 31/76 gearing and 5000mah 3s and lock the differential if you want. Your car should achieve 70+. Added weight doesnt help but use a metal driveshaft because its good weight
