What’s crazy is this actually works. It’s a numbers game, speak to 300 people and “neg” enough of them and one person will actually fall for it as their judgment will usually be impaired due to alcohol (there’s a good reason why they’re doing this in Vegas). I think it’s total BS and cringe, but I had a roommate who was 30 or so when I was ~22 back in the day with the vh1 show and that other weird pickup artist dude and he would do this at the bar, go up to every girl there, be a creepy old dude, and eventually he’d find one when the bars closed at 2am. I moved out a couple years after I moved in and I’d think he’s probably still doing it in his 50s right now… so creepy
