@@friedbaconsizzles Nah man, nfts can't even contain any real amount of data, it's just a link to some file online, and then you just gotta pray that that stays online for as long as you own that nft. A real life comparison would be someone having a painting in a secret location, selling you viewing rights to go see it in that location, but themselves retaining the power to just move the painting at any time. All kinds of lame.

You're completely right. Art does well to be challenging and evocative. Playing for the birth of a daughter couldn't be a more auspicious time to record for someone who plays a full-bodied instrument, realistically. The harp is such a lush instrument that it just works. Crazy, but crazy artistic.

Everything about this video was beyond wholesome. I cannot tell you how badly I want to see Channel 5 to film some random wedding.
The surgeon-esque precision with which Andrew extracts stories and information from people is like nothing I've ever seen. Interviewing the harp player and then taking the time to actually seek out and play the part of his record that he was talking about, where his newborn cries over his harp playing in the delivery room; it really shows the value and care that Andrew gives to every encounter.

Agreed. This channel is like an extended documentary of just how varied people’s lives and experiences are.
I love the harpist. He's playing at weddingcon and casually mentions how he also plays at divorces.
That harp player was so... Genuine and sweet. He seemed so excited to talk about his recording involving his daughter, which I genuinely think is honestly pretty beautiful.

@@ml6158 eh, not like you see Pokémon card collectors play with their cards either. However, I don't like sneaker collector culture, it's all about selling and buying as efficiently as you can. Especially with new sneakers coming out all the time, you have to be fast to get them, not like you can take your time and shop around for some you think is just awesome and would like them in your collection, it's 90% looking for whatever the market and the public has decided you absolutely need to be hip.

Harps are definitely one of the more underrated instruments. This was the most wholesome episode Channel 5 has done... We definitely needed a chaser after all the craziness this year.

"What is your secret?" Is the first question Andrew asks the harp guy. Such an open ended question but the Harp guy had a response ready. Andrew knows how to get people comfortable to say what's really on their minds. His interview style is unmatched.

Made me smile when Andrew traded the Jordans for the painting. It ain't easy being a painter these days, but whatever publicity she gets from this video can be enough to keep herself motivated. We'll see her exhibit in MoMA in a few years.
