Carter and I are so blessed, thankful to Dr. Kaufman and his profession and can’t praise him enough for all he did to make life better for Carter. He really cares about his patients . Thank you Dr. Kaufman and to your staff ❤😊

I'm scared that I'm being ignored because my med group is making us & NJ jump hoops that have no positive honest outcome.... My health is continuing to spiral down.. headaches , can't sleep, panick attack & feeling hopeless sick Feb. If I get sick again I won't make it...how is this surgery considered not IMPORTANT?

@@KELLYTOOLZ I actually did research and came across Dr. Kaufman. When my husband came home from the Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in January of 2018 with no indication of a cure ; that’s when I researched phrenic nerve paralysis and of course consulted with Dr. Kaufman and our insurance because it was out of network but my insurance liaison person who worked with our insurance Co went and presented my husband’s case before the board because there was no one else who could do the surgery. Sometimes we as patients have to take control of our healthcare in these types of situations because no doctor had ever heard of this particular procedure and wasn’t aware there was help out there. I wish you the very best with your health.

Why does no one speak of the coverage/ cost??????.??????????????????? I was told...

Kelly, fortunately, we went before our insurance advocate and explained there was no other physician other than Dr. Kaufman who could do this surgery as it was and is a rare disorder and she went to the board with our insurance company and they agreed to approve the surgical procedure because there were no other physicians that could do this rare procedure. So it worked out and we are so thankful.
