Dave, a great video as usual but ab better recommendation would be to back up the whole ‘Adobe Photoshop 2023 Settings’ folder. This not only saves all your custom actions but workspaces, brushes and gradients; essentially, your whole Photoshop configuration andwould also save you having to do this exercise for all the PS elements individually. Just a thought 😊

It works for your brushes as well in the same folder.

Hi Dave, I tried this method and works ok but then I remembered how I did it before. If you go to the Edit menu, Edit>Presets>Export/Import Presets you can then choose to export and import all your presets including actions, workspaces, gradients and keyboard shortcuts. Just another way of doing it as usual with Photoshop

Another great video as always. This has enabled me to sync changes to photoshop across my iMac and MacBook. Dave can you show us how to do this with the "My Actions" in TK8?

If another Windows user didn't already mention how to set a Prefs folder into Favorites (you talked about Mac), the 3 options are: 1- Click a folder and drag it to Favorites. (You can’t remove a folder this way.). 2-Right-click the folder you want to add or remove, and then click Show in Favorites or Remove from Favorites. 3-In the Folder Pane, click the folder you want to add, and then click Folder. In the Favorites group, click Show in Favorites. The ribbon command is highlighted when the selected folder appears in Favorites.

I haven’t used any actions, don’t even know what to do with one. How about a video about your favourites and how to create them?

I have an old Windows machine that I rarely use but this seems to work. Find the folder/file you want to access quickly, right click and select "Pin to quick Access" . It does not appear to work to drag/drop instead.

I have a bunch of actions - downloaded & ones I've made. I've always had to save them one x one. So I never got them backed up & just prayed. I am a Win 11 user. Thx!

I think you are referring to the My Actions Panel that is part of the TK8 Plugin for Photoshop.

Quick Actions. I tried to ubderlign it, but that didn't work

Windows 11: actions is under C:/users/"username"/appdata/roaming/adobe/photoshop 2023/presets/actions the just right click and "pin to quick access" then it is on your quick access list which is at the top in windows explorer. I have a screengrab of the path but don't see a place to post it here.
