Photographing RED SQUIRRELS in the CAIRNGORMS NATIONAL PARK
This video is a little bit different as I spent the whole day photographing red squirrels from a purpose built hide up in the Cairngorms National Park. After a few days of wild camping, removing ticks, being bitten by midges and mosquitos it was really nice to have a chilled day photographing these wonderful red squirrels in comfort.
The hide is owned by Neil McIntyre and you can find more details on his hide by clicking the link below.

Amazing moments!
Some of your best images!!!
Some nice images again. I had to rewind a little to look at them again! By the way, the hide also protects you from squirrel bites! Yes, those cute little things shouldn‘t be trusted with your finger tips - ask my wife😄

Great video, thank you so much. Inspirational, the hide is on my bucket list 🙂. One small suggestion, to cover jump cuts without any b-roll you could try cropping in a bit, not perfect but the change of view makes them less noticeable. You’ve a great selection of shots, presumably the side tracking shot was with a drone?
