Phoenix Fan Fusion 2023 Opening Day!
Its summertime which means it is time for the biggest fan event of Arizona! Phoenix Fan Fusion 2023! Basically Arizona's Comic Con of another name.
My husband and I are huge geeks so this event is so so fun for us every year. We got full event passes again which means we can come any day during the weekend and see absolutely everything. Again we dressed up in the nerdiest outfits we have in our closets to wear to friday, its opening day.
The main item on the agenda today is to see the guest panel hosted by the voices actors for Star Wars the Clone Wars TV Show: Ashley Eckstein & James Arnold Taylor! Matt Lanter was also meant to join them but could not attend. My husband and I have never been to a panel so this was a first for us at this convention.
We also eat out first convention meal to very mediocre results. But with all of the shopping we did the first day was a success!

@@armida1 lol, yes its a lot of work, scrubbing videos, editing, transitions, color grading etc, lol
Reusing costumes, especially expensive ones, is always okay. I've used the same yukata-like robe for many costumes. Con food truly is expensive. I feel a bit luckily that the first time I tried to purchase some basic food at one, they told me they only took credit cards and not cash. Ended up finding a stand that did take cash and had some delicious japanese-inspired loaded hot dogs at least. I'm glad you guys got to go to the Clone Wars panel, a unique experience for sure! Can't wait for the photos!

You'll have to show me the robe! I bet its beautiful! Japanese inspired hot dogs? that sounds crazy haha i bet it was so so good. We should have been adventurous like that and had one of the food trucks outside but i think seeing the carne asada fries available inside swayed Christian's choice. & yes it was so fun! I wish it was longer than just an hour. I could hear Ashley & James talk about Star Wars forever.
Cool video and cool costumes! I wish my country (best wishes from Australia btw) did more conventions like this :(

good LORD….$14 for just the carne asada fries? that is so ridiculous lol! i hope they were the best carne asada fries he has ever had…. EVER! lol

you KNOW they weren't haha Filiberto's is way better for twice the size for the same price. My husband didnt say it was bad though 🤷♀️
Nope roof over head is a better deal to much money.
