Brian Johnson coached timid. Jalen Carter's one arm tackle of Mac Jones was what I will remember of this game. That man is strong!!

This was a very good game. I was pretty impressed with Mac Jones bouncing back from the pick-6 with a critical TD before the end of the half. It wasn’t a pretty win for the eagles, but they can take what was given to them, which was a barn burner

Told stupid Belichick fans, Belichick's defense couldn't be trusted in 4th quarter. All he had to do was to hold Eagles to 1-less FG, and Pats would have won. BTW, if Mac Jones had one top tier play maker, Pats likely would have won this game. When Brady did it without a top tier play maker, Belichick and his stupid fans simply didn't appreciate at all.

the team was prepared in all three phases of the game. They did turn the ball over but otherwise scored more TDs than the Igles. I think that answers the question about whether Mac is an NFL QB or not. Gonzalez answered the question about being an NFL CB capable of handling an AJ Brown. Bourne, Douglas, Henry, we have some pass catchers and they are going to be well coached and directed by Billy. This is not a bad team!

Other then the 2 turnovers in the 1qtr and the dropped passes the offence and Mac looked really good out there.

This had all the makings of a blow out. Credit to the Pats for staying in it.

Turns out you give the Patriots a real OC and they look like a real team. But there's a lot of small details and bad decisions that could've made the difference and won the game. Let's see how they clean things up

For the patriots , They have many good young players , they shouldn’t be slept on. For the Eagles it’s the first game their starters played in on offense since the super bowl and to have still won after playing a horrible game on offense isn’t so bad , they’ll pick it up eventually.

Love it when these teams play each other. I refer to it as the American Game since you got the Patriots and the American bird, Eagles. Such a classic matchup as their logos and uniforms clash perfectly when lined up against each other. 2 Superbowls against each other, hopefully many more. Wish they could play each year in an outta conference rivalry game. But I want their next matchup to have Eagles wear Kelly green uniforms and patriots wear their uniforms from the mid 90's. That was the best when their uniforms clashed when these squads played against each other in 90s!

The early turnovers were huge for the eagles. Judging by how the game went offensively. I dont think the eagles wouldve scored a td if it wasnt for slay and the early fumble by zeke which gave the ball at like 20 for the eagles for an easy redzone drive. Such a great last quarter. I wish Bill had opted to go for the field goals towards the end but I'm happy that it ended up being closer than what I had expected. Felt like the Pats offense was much better but all those holding calls in the end were sloppy.

Just saying that the Eagles losing that OC really cost them, obviously talking about this game only. We will see long term

Not a bad showing for the new Billy O'Brien offense even with a couple of subs on the OL and missing a couple of WRs. The defense answered questions about being able to contain a running QB. Gonzalez proved he can play even against and AJ Brown. ST made a couple or three nice returns to give the offense good field position. It's not the joke of a team we saw in 2022!

The Pats fought hard and tried to bring it back. If we played the first 4 minutes like the last 56 we might've beat them, but I'm happy it was at least close.

Philadelphia, y'all got some work to do both on offense and defense especially the coordinators, either way a win is a win for u guys

likewise both coordinators already pissed me off in the 1st game like an unprepared team ready to go horrible down and distance calls, not enough nickel packages or bltizes or cover 3 for end zone defense. For the Eagles, atrocious play calling. #Eagles

with out that pick 6 the Eagles lose sunday to the pats 18-20... that would be horrible ontop of horrid play calling. Cool cool to see another panther fan, met a few in the USAF years back. Go Birds. I dont know too much about the panthers but I liked Miles Sanders when he was on the Eagles. until I see more from Eagles running backs im pissed #Eagles best of luck out there. peace*@@frostdawg

As an Eagles fan I’m glad we won but I must say, Jalen was not impressive at all! Hopefully, in our future games he needs to step it up and see who’s open. I’m sure once Jalen continues to practice he’ll be 💯 back on track! Go Eagles! 🦅

@@lildripnation3462I’m not counting him out yet he had 1 bad game. Even Mahomes had a pretty mediocre game against the Lions. Yes I know his WR’s couldn’t catch but he also made some bad throws. Hopefully the Eagles go into Week 2 with the rust off

Patriots fan should be excited for their Team. Mac Jones looks good, they finally got a good offense. Their Defense coach by Bill will never be bad!!! Eagles fans should also be excited.. they kept their energy from last season!! This was one of my favorite game this week

The Patriots gave the game away in the 1st quarter. Tom Brady may have been present in the stadium but he was sitting up in the owner's box. That, along with how the Patriots played in the 1st quarter, make it clear that the glory days are definitely over.

Ok so that win wasn't as pretty as I expected, but a win is a win And at least our defense looks like they haven't changed any momentum from last season Our offense though, yeah it as ok I honestly feel like it was the O-line that was the issue in this game, but yeah Let's hope we can improve from this and have clearner games later on Also I hope Bradberry and Deen can get better because I don't want injuries to plaque us again like that season

Tough loss but very impressed & optimistic on the offense , Mac looked comfortable & I like they play calls . Defense already In mid-season form I feel very good about this team 💯

Pats fan Good game yesterday the eagles played well good luck this season

As a Eagles fan, I'm somewhat happy with the win. But, our play calling on offense and Jalen's play were nothing to be happy about. Jalen does not play well in the rain. This is the worse I seen the Eagles play in several years.

No one expected that after the start the Pats had. Looking very promising with their new offensive weapons and a possible contender for 2nd place in the division.

Almost lost to a team going fourth in their division the cowboys will humble you along with the chiefs the bills

Eagles new assistant coaches were outcoached. Take away the deflection interception by Slay and Elliot fumble and Pats not only win but dominate this game. Hurts either threw into coverage or threw the ball away all day. 79 yards at halftime? Eagles D gave up huge plays because defensive coordinator was not putting guys into position to make plays. Individual efforts by Fletcher Cox helped where the coordinator failed. Long season ahead.
