As a Browns fan, I detest the team railroading Mayfield and overpaying Shaun. I am rooting for the Buccaneers this season, and Mayfield showed his stuff once again. A system set up to his strengths is what he needs and only got under Williams of all coaches when he was in Cleveland.

That's gonna cause problems for offense, specifically the run game. but it's good to have a mobile-enough qb to replace tom brady, and a new oc to make them less predictable.. hard without a good run game though. yea, that at Pittsburgh game in the wildcards was the best browns moment in decades. thank you Mayfield and the rest of the team.

TB gets off to a good start to the season. I didn't know what to expect from Baker, but it looks like this change in scenery will benefit him. I expect him, Evans and Godwin to light things up. The NFC South is completely wide open and any team can possibly win it. Next up is CHI. Congrats on the win TB 👍.

The vikes have a solid team. They will give a good run in that division. Your offense is good. Turnovers made the difference. And the bucs defense came up big with that interception near there goal line. Tampa did just enough to win. Anytime you win a road game is a plus

He’s definitely very tough. He just needs to keep studying extremely hard in the film room. As a short guy myself, sports are harder for us, so baker needs to make up for it with extra film study. If he can get on the intelligence level of Tom Brady, then Baker will be fine

Hope Evans can catch the ball. He dropped a TD and that deep pass. The FB dropped another TD. The first two drives, every pass hit the recievers in the hands most were dropped except that pass batted down. Those he will get a lot cuz his height.

It was maybe a 15 yard pass and the Bucs scored a TD on that drive any way so it made no difference in the game or Bakers stats.

As an OU fan, I feel like Baker is back on that path for greatness. He seem a lot healthier and just hope he’s consistent throughout this season. Wish him the best.

Wow i did not expect that. I mean we knew last season that the vikings just had a bunch of close wins and we were not sure wether they were legit. They struggled a lot today. Tampa pass rush was brutal, cousins was pressured every play. Baker looked quite solid towards the end. Very nice team effort

As a Vikings turnovers are the only thing that cost us this game. If not for the two fumbles and the interception in the red zone, we win that game. I’m honestly not too worried. Bucs are probably a top 5 defense this year. That being said we’ve got some work to do. But I’m not too worried. I think we’ll turn it around.

Baker running to get the first down to seal the game reminds me of him running to get the first down against the Steelers, to seal the game and the Browns first playoff birth in many years.

What a win. Listening to the live feed while at work and it definitely had its up and downs. That kicker making the 57 yard field goal was clutch and then Baker Mayfield running and throwing those last 2 first downs was great to see

Just so happy that Mayfield did what he does best. Put all his determination into winning. Tampa Bay looked absolutely awesome overall. A few tweaks here and there and we're on our way...love the Buccaneers ❤.

Baker Mayfield wasn't flashy today but he was tough when he needed to be. If he can do that every week the Bucs have a shot. Their defense is solid

We need Brady back tbh don’t no why he got so much hate… his wr were dropping open passes and defense sold honestly I believe he could bring us one this year he dead as almost got Tampa 2.. people forget the bucks was one pass away from going to superbowl but lost to the rams..

Good job by Mayfield keeping his pose, he didn't have the greatest game but he threw no picks and made good throws when he needed it. Still weird not to see No. 12 out there, for the first time in this century, the NFL don't have Tom Brady as a active player.

​@@billricheter5678We never know, but people getting old for sure. Brady had one of his best seasons 2 years ago, then one of his worsts last year...his time had come to retire. He had his last dance for 2 seasons, but his 3rd and last was the beginning of the downfall. But you could always have faith in Brady, that he can pull of the impossible and I miss that. He always had the chance to do something spectacular, that only he could. He was like a magician for me, even above 40. Actually watching a 40+ qb winning games was a unique feeling. Miss him very much, but time has passed. Football and life goes on, new stars and legends will rise.

I think people need to re watch when they say Baker didnt have a good first half. First drive, every pass hit the wr in the hands but most dropped. Evans dropped a TD, and that deep ball. The FB dropped a TD. Baker had more drops than Mahomes vs Lions but still won due to some of them bulldozer runs.

Good start, but we have alot of room for improvement. Offense needs to run the ball better and OLine needs to give Baker more time. Defense needs to get better at coverage, I know its Jefferson but too many wide open plays...but I cant be too upset over a win. On to Week 2...And lets get a deal done for Mike Evans and Devin White. Keep them Buccaneers for Life.

Gave em that first down and that PI call was sus. But the script played out as intended 😜

As a vikings fan this hurts, but as a Baker Mayfield fan, I'm extremely happy, I dunno what to think.

Browns and Bucs fan here. Love to watch Mayfield throw! And he has that grit....

Everybody had the Vikings beating us and we had no chance! We got guts and that was a gutsy win.

The bucs defense looked like the Bucs defense from the 2021. They’ve been missing that “suddenness” for the past couple of years.

With the bucs defense they have a really good chance of winning the nfc south.

Browns fan here, and couldn't be happier to see Baker notch a W in his first start.

I'm gonna keep an eye on Baker Mayfield this season, hopefully it works out for him and the Bucs. The NFC South is game this season for any of the teams in that division to win it.
