@@thomashauer6804 no it wasn’t lol. The camera clearly showed he was down before the 1st. Not to mention the refs missed it when the runner was actually down before the pitch. The Patriots got dominated so take the L like a man.
Sucks hard that the Pats came up short again, but my respect for Cole Strange absolutely skyrocketed after that final play. The athleticism he displayed by jumping up and pulling the ball out of the air while spinning and evading a defender while churning through a crowd to desperatly get the first down, all while just coming off a knee injury, is impressive as f**k. I'm sure we can all agree that, no matter who we root for, seeing a lineman run with the ball brings a smile to all our faces. Solid Effort Pats, we'll get them next time.

Belichick is washed, Jones is a bust, and Kraft isn't involved enough: Pats fans need to stop being so blind to these kind of things. Jones doesn't have the ability to be "the guy" who when you need a game-winning drive you can depend on. The media hit the nail on the head this time because he was the most NFL-ready quarterback but what you see is what you get. At this point if he doesn't show a vast amount of growth in which he has had plenty of time to do I would trade him. People will hide behind last years staff but regardless he is a professional and that's not an excuse.

Tua was throwing beams all game that PA option to draw in LB then hit your Wideout in stride on that crossing route was beautiful
12:05 Last-minute 4th down improv lateral was a beautiful effort. Many players made great plays inside of that one play! The defender’s 1v1 tackle just short of the 1st down…the receiver’s heads-up lateral OVER a defender to his OL teammate…the lineman’s overhead catch and instant “fullback mode” transition…his teammates efforts to move the pile…. It was all SO good to watch. Unfortunate it came up just short, but then again, the defense made a determined effort, too. ❤
Tua to Berrios at the end of the half was amazing
Barrios and Mostert played great for us tonight. OL Gave up only 1 sack in 2 games is a great sign for us. Tua is confident and regardless of that INT, he isn’t scared to throw the deep ball, and remained poised. Exactly - NO ONE is talking about this!!
Mac Jones doesn't even look bad. Took until the 4th Quarter for his O-Line to keep him from having to run for his life. If they keep Mac clean, or mostly clean, I think they can be a productive Offense. What a legendary play it would have been if Cole Strange got that First Down. It was already cool as hell, but what could've been :(

He was still having to get the ball out of his hand way too quickly forcing us to only have an underneath game...Far easier for defenses only have to play against a team that can only use ten to fifteen yards of field...

What?! This comment sounds dumb and delusional. Mac doesn't look that bad. He is not an elite quarterback and he is trash quarterback. Why does everyone keep giving him flowers and credit where credit isn't due. The patriots defense is the only reason they stay in these games or else they would blown out. When they lose, it's mostly because Mac is a terrible quarterback
I love the Pat the Patriot at mid field and the old unis. It fits us old fans to see them play like they did back in the 70s.

I'm not a fan of either, but I would not go so far as to say Miami 'dominated' this game - not in the least. One or two valuable miscues by the Pats, and that last 4th down attempt in the waning seconds within inches that failed, could have been a completely different story.

Miami played well.the offense and defense stood up. A good 2-0 start for the season

Coach Belichick did something unusual. He played only one linebacker and 5 safeties most of the game. He tried to shut down all passes over the middle of the field. But Miami counter with a very effective inside zone running game which was the weakness of that Patriot defensive and won the game.

Tua and the Dolphins looking good I’m impressed.
Mac just doesnt have that IT factor. That was one thing about Tom Brady... Whenever they played games against good teams the defense led by belichick somehow kept them in the game (like how they have done the past two weeks) and Brady almost always found a way to get the offense going and decode the defense to figure out how to get the win late. That was why Belichick and Brady were an unstoppable two headed monster.
