These guys are one of my favourite animation directors because they taught me the value of creative collaboration and creating a good emotional story.

this is so great. listening to these two guys makes you realize why they make such great movies (with their current peak being Across the Spiderverse) - basically, their trick is simple: not being egomaniacal and listening to others instead. (or, like, spontaneously letting a 14 year old animate a 20 second Lego sequence in one of their biggest projects 💛)

I felt the mix of excitement and desperation in the voice of those 3 Clone High fans that laughed at "A Rope of Sand"

Absolute legends. So interesting to hear them talk about working process and failure, presumably only months before getting fired from Solo.

This was amazing. I could watch 10 more of these easily.

Cobalt Falcon. Apparently they tried to make Solo more of a comedy. I love Ron Howard but I also love Phil & Chris. I didn’t really like Solo all that much. It was okay. But I would have liked to see what these two created and maybe their cut of the movie. But that will most likely never happen.
