The thing about Southampton is that they're conceding a lot of goals, even when they scrape wins.

The Stoke and Wednesday games may be similar to this one, with teams battling against the drop. So we need to be clinical with our chances. For me I can see Leeds and Ipswich being promoted automatically.

They'll also be lumping the ball into the box and celebrating free kicks and corners like goals. Because they know stumpy in goal has never been seen to come and command his area in all the time he's been at Leeds. What is worrying is very simple tactics can beat us.

Ipswich's first goal is emblematic of their season. It will be the most Leeds thing ever for us to get a record club points total and it not matter because a promoted side (managed by ex-Man Utd and stocked with EPL loan talent, which everyone seems to conveniently forget) got an even larger club record points total. Irritating.

Leeds always worry me when they start fannying about at the back instead of getting forward. It fills a poor opponent with the confidence to start attacking themselves

We have no urgency at all playing out from the back. I am sick of Rodon passing sideways or backwards and always to the left. It’s his fault everything goes down the left and James is stood twiddling his thumbs

On Pearson’s foul on Cree; Yes seen those given a yellow and it happens when a defender comes in from behind on an attacker and yes it can be understandable, when the defender goes for the ball! HOWEVER in this instance Cree lays the ball off with his right foot the ball has gone away, look at Pearsons eyes he’s aimed for Crees left leg because it’s standing and not moving and he’s raked his studs down his calf, NOT his ankle where the ball would have been, but his calf! That IS and should have been a RED all day long. It was a deliberate attempt to injure the player!

You're right lads! We needed to stamp our quality all over that game but let them suck us into a messy game. Definitely give Somerville a rest on Tuesday. The lad looked knackered.

I thought Town played well and could have won it. A good point. The energy and cadence of passes were low from the off. Town were up for it. Our final ball and through ball (into the hole) was heavy. Cree was telegraphing all of his intentions. At half time I thought were were gonna lose. Relief! Well played Town.

Hogg is a bloody idiot he could have badly damaged his team, but what about Gnonce diving about, and trying to get Hogg sent off in the first half I liked him before this game

Our forwards spent the whole game with their backs to the goal - no searching passes at all from midfield, snail pace approach play allowing udders time to get everyone back in the box. Don’t understand why Farke doesn’t address this

Across our whole season, many of our wins and goals have been as a result of individual quality, rather than superior tactics. Ipswich are showing what a good structure can do and good tactics, without top quality.

Yeah but every team doesn't put 10 men behind the ball against Ipswich.

Sound quality on this podcast has been bad on and off for the last few months which is annoying as it's the best Leeds Utd podcast imo

3-4 straight reds in that game, the ref was shite and bottled it.

First we were not really up for the game. Kamara was very poor, and I expected that he would be pulled at half time, moving Archie into attacking midfield. and bringing Roberts on. Cry, Willey and Georgy did not smile the whole game, which reflected their demeanour on the day. Pat was surround by 6 players so could not turn in the box. We should have had more shots from outside the box instead of going round in circles trying to play one two's! The referee. Who is responsible for time added on?? In the second half they added 6 minutes to cover injuries and subs, but what happened to the 12 minutes of time wasting?? It is a fact that time wasting does get its rewards, even with the ref tapping his watch and telling the team to get on with it. Imagine the headlines if they had added 18 minutes extra time?? Maybe it would discourage teams in the future? As it is now it is a joke - crime does pay.
