THE GREATESS concert I've seen was Phill Collins many summers ago. He sang 2 hrs and 45 minutes, took a short breat and came back out for another 90 minutes. OMG ......... he even said he swallowed a bug there were so many moths flying . Great job.
This performance is criminal...pure masterclass
This live version blows away the studio version! It's so atmospheric. When he reaches the drum kit & plays that drum part like the expert he is, the audience goes nuts! FANTASTIC!!!!

ME!!!
Memories, riding on the back of a Harley, summer night, riding along the beach, the song comes blasting on the soft warm air, with someone you shouldn't be with, "you can wipe off that grin, I know where you been, it's all been a pack of lies..." the pain of breathing the sharp words in, that warm tee shirt, parking in the sand and the salt water, "the first time, the last time we ever met..... the hurt doesn't show," I was waiting for that moment all my life.

Memories...in 1972 I had gotten married and moved away from home. Came back in the fall of the year to visit family. My bro was up in his room listening to PC and I stepped into his room to say hello and I asked him who that was singing. He was about 16 at the time and I was 22. It was the first time we ever agreed on our musical interests at all. Ever since then I have been a very serious fan of Phil Collins! He never did get into anything I listened to, Motown, Hendrix, Joplin but with Collins it was like an instant bond had been created between us. RIP little bro ❤️U and miss you! 🙏🏼

No stage strippers, no radio versions playing on the speakers, just an ordinary looking artist using only his voice and instrument skills to wow the crowd. The 80s artists will always be lightyears ahead of today's so-called "talent."

Too bad! Saw many concerts over the 70’s to early 2000’s, at many venues in the Philadelphia area (when tickets were still affordable & obtainable), & saw 2 of his tours. They were absolute perfection! What a thrill!

I never got to see him either as much as I wanted to. Breaks my heart my chance slipped away.
The way he strolled casually down the stairs, across the stage and up the stairs again to arrive at precisely the right moment for the most memorable drum solo in rock music is just astonishing !

My mom and I are like omg is he gonna make it to the drum solo? This song is always fun to see life with Phil hammering those drums to hell.

After carefully looking how they kept the drums hidden I realized it's on an elevator showing up just when he's arriving there. Great performance.
2031, Who will still listen to this sublime and timeless music? ✅
My bro died 2 years ago. You am a real man.. love you phil.. realist allways.. bring it. Gonna cry

Not according to Rolling Stone Magazine. They have him listed at 43.
More than a classic this. I'm 71 and it still makes the hairs stand up.
Who is here in 2028?
it's crazy how different this can sound from the original. this feels almost otherworldly how it is portrayed in this performance.
Who else is njoying this piece of art in 2024?

HE DID THIS LIVE! Probably one of the best live performances ever. My son loves it and I just watched POLO REACTS and he said it was a War Song. Said it would get men pumped for whatever was coming. So now I’m pretty sure I understand why my son likes this song. And I now know why although I love love love this song from the first note to the last I am filled with anxiety.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS SONG!!! This version that he played live is my absolute favorite! He is just extraordinary to me and beyond talented not to mention Phil Collins on them drum's 🥁 is pure Heaven to me!!!
A true genius in the music industry! This song will forever be a banger no matter the age group!
