I appreciate you doing the math because half the time im too tired to get this wild with the theorycrafting, these days. Earned yourself a sub, for sure. One thing I would add for Eff use is the most efficient way is to use a rank 1 Rejuvination to then Swiftmend from and trigger Eff and save some mana.

R1 rejuv and efflo seems to be the way according to logs.

Just want to throw out there that I am still DPS/Heals in Temple raid and I am not using Efflo. I find the omen play style very fun. I am running omen and playing the proc mini-game. I don't feel I am missing efflo at all. Tossing out 0 mana WG is great. My healing is fine, I am usually top 1-2 on meter. It's so much more engaging playing this way and having to think on the spot what to do with clear casting procs. Enjoy what you like and play to YOUR own optimization. You might surprise yourself.

Of-course, play the way you want. No one is trying to force you to use a spell you don't want to. Once people gear up and get the mechanics down better I don't think there will be as big a need for the aoe heal spam. Then more people will probably switch over to omen.

Hey there, excellent video. Have you had any thoughts regarding the newly updated omen of clarty ? (making non-instant spell capable of procing it) So giving us potential free wild growth when we nourish or cast free wrath ?

Did not see the Omen change before this video. That's hyuge, will definitely be going 15-0-26 with omen+imp thorns now. No question. Maybe in phase 4 we can toy with Efflorescence.

what about now with the changes to Effloresence? 108 per sec for 15secs instead of 142 every 2 sec for 30secs. Now also 0.06 SP co-ef which puts it around 130every sec for 15secs (with about 350 healing power) so it will be like double lifebloom ticks. Waaay better then 15-0-26 imo. Even if it only hits 2 players, thats 24.2813 healing per mana. thats twice our best healing spells output right

108 is the level 60 value. For level 50 its 78 healing every 1 seconds for 15 seconds. Huge buff though! So many props to the SoD dev team for the frequent, good balancing changes they're making. Shortening the huge duration but making it heal 2x as often is a nice buff for it. Now with that and the Omen changes we have 2 viable talent spec choices. One more suited for aoe encounters (if there are heavy aoe damage fights in ST), and the other more suited to single-target healing / Wrath spam fights. Aka, player agency to choose which way you want to build and be rewarded for that. They're conditional and situational though, so we'll have to wait and see what the 20-man Sunken Temple bosses are all about before deciding which spec is "better"!

So far, Efflo is outperforming the Omen spec.

Glad to hear it man. Saw the P3 effl buff a day or two after that video and changed my stance. Still undecided until I get to test it and try the new raid. Glad to hear its pumping!! I've heard good feedback about both Omen & Efflor. Love to hear it.

@KabloueyYT just completed first raid tonight. Efflo definitely pulling its weight. Mana is definitely an issue, but double inmervate fixes that.

uhhhh isn't the SP mod on a per-tick basis for hots and dots? So for the whole entire rejuv the mod would be 0.2 every 3 seconds for 12 seconds which would add up to 0.8 for the full duration of the spell, no? edit: it doesn't really change your conclusion, but I'm pretty sure your rejuv math is incorrect.

Yes, think thats the way I calc'd it. But, ya, even if not it wouldn't change the outcome by any significant amount.

The healing runes for druids are so far ahead of the vanilla spells i cant see us using them unless massively buffed I was thinking blizz should just put the nail in the coffin for rejuvenation and regrowth and let lifebloom take advantage of talents that modify or require them We would get 50% increased crit chance on the bloom effect (tho probably more of a pvp buff), and we could control when we want it to bloom every 15 sec with swiftmend

Agreed Dg. It would really be nice to see them let more runes benefit from vanilla talents. I'm holding out hopw that Moonglow (my druid's namesake) ends up being allowed tobuff LB or WG. It's clear they want runes to be OP either way.

Omen is pretty bad, it has like a 6% proc chance and free wrath’s consume the clearcasts

@@kysammons no way, really? A zero mana cost spell should not consume a clearcast (omen) proc. Hopefully the devs fix that. Wrath with Stormrage rune was already great though so can't complain that its buff (omen) isn't OP enough.

I’ve been using Omen and its proc rate is insane. I’m using the instant cast from fury on a rank 1 HT(if zero damage is going out) or Nourish if I need it and it proc’s my Omen almost every single time. Efflorescence is pretty nice too.

With the new changes to efflorescence, 1/2 duration but healing every second instead of every 2 seconds...yes, that could be great! We'll have to see what the ST bosses are like but I can see having 2 choices for a resto spec. Either 14-0-26 to pickup Omen, or 5-0-36 for Swiftmend/Efflorescence.

Maybe I'm dumb, but couldn't you just use a downranked Rejuvenation just to proc Efflorescence? I mean, Swiftmend seems kind of meh when, like you said, we already have Nourish.

Nah, you smrt. If it turns out that Efflorescence does a solid amount of healing we can definitely do that. But with news about buff to Omen, even more reason not to use Efflorescence/Swiftmend.

@@KabloueyYTactually I think with the buff to omen I think using omen procs to get free regrowth casts and timing it for efflo on tank groups will be big cause it opens the option for wild growth to be used for other groups if there is heavy raid wide damage. I think the big move is down ranked rejuv and swiftmend for raid damage and omen procs with regrowth for efficiency and what not. But ONLY for big raid damage since we have 20 people this raid it (efflo) gives the ability to have a long version of wild growth on a dps group taking constant lower damage.

@@KabloueyYT I noticed like right after I commented haha but yea I thinkdown rank rejuv/ down rank regrowth (if you have 3 piece tier) with extra crit might be the go to for raid damage and omen is the go to for boomy off heals/restokin. Efficiency with down ranked rejuv and swiftmend/efflo for raid damage is just too good to pass up. Plus with 20mans we are bound to see more raid wide damage than wild growth alone can keep up with.

@@KabloueyYT omen is better for minimal raid damage and longer fight efficiency. I feel restokin builds around that will be BiS after everyone gets comfortable with the raid and no longer needs 3ish healers to clear.

New resto druid here. Nourish is more powerful and mana efficient with a hot rolling than improved regrowth? Also if you use r1 rejuv and then use swiftmend, do you still get the full heal of swiftmend or is it based on the rank of rejuv?

Swiftmend heal is based of the rejuv rank used but the amount healed from Efflo is not effected by down raking rejuv. Nourish is very mana efficient since the nerf to cost.

What Satellite said is correct. I've tried with rank 1 rejuve and max rank rejuve to get efflorescences and didn't notice a big difference in my mana sustain either way. So I'm doing it with max rank now. And, yes, Nourish is still better.

Please don't take offense to what I"m about to say. When you guys make guides and start pulling out calculators and spreadsheets you loose me. I'm grown so I know the younger generation cuts you off immediately. solution? Just record yourself playing and actually show what your saying in action. Slow down the video so viewers can see. If you really want your channel to take off lets the viewers see you in action.

Nah, no offense taken. Back in phase 2 I didn't think showing Gnomer clears were anything impressive so didn't want to upload a bunch of videos of that. But then ended up having a bunch of videos with math, which isn't much better. Still trying to figure out what works with the little downtime I have to make videos. I'll try to get more actual gameplay in the background and just record some audio over them from now on I think. Thanks for the feedback.
