In my 29 years of life I studied and listened to a lot of music, many genres and within chill music yours is the only one that is very emotional but it doesn't make me feel sad it makes me feel incredible. I remember when I began listening to your music since you started in 2008 (Reflections, Inside) both EPs had dubstep vibes and after 14 years you have evolved into something else and now your music sounds like a genre on its own, I love your work. After all these years, in the moments of solitude and silence that life has given me, your music was always in the background. From one artist to another, thank you.

THIS!! I had a traumatic brain injury and my memory recall isn't great. Some how music allows me to access those memories, most noticeably this kind of deep, introspective music. A lot of good memories come back listening to Phaeleh, I am unable to bring up on my own. Im so happy we are experiencing this beautiful music today, and making new memories.

@@phaeleh ahhhh so THIS was the track you were referring to! To us viewers your dilemma is more of a Schrodinger's Cat, as it technically doesn't exist as we've never heard the alternative version. Unfortunately this makes it seem like a curse only you have been burdened with, but take solace in the fact that this version us viewers are exposed to is nothing short of perfect. I've had this track on repeat for days and even fell asleep to it the other night and had an amazing sleep 😁

Absolutely adore those plinky sounds you added later in the song. I think there's at least one thing I adore about every track on the album. Not sure I can say that about previous releases.

Thanks dude, yeah this tune developed quite nicely towards the end. Sat on it for years as just couldn't figure out the finishing touches, but finally got there with it. Tho saying that, the version that was supposed to be on the album definitely sounds better 😂 but that sums up my 2022 in a nutshell!

@@JMac90_ Yeah the problem was the mastering guy just missed it from a batch of tunes sent for revisions. The problems were so big on a few tracks that I just totally missed that he hadn't done the newer version of this track. By the time I'd noticed it the professional working relationship was a little strained and he essentially refused to do it as this album had stressed him out so much! :/ I could do it myself but it would sound a bit weird, but maybe at some point I'll try!

It love this so much, absolutely beautiful as always

Well I really appreciate the long term support. I think it's a combination of many things tbf, bad advice and bad timing on a few things, and wasting time on projects which never saw the light of day, and if I'd just kept doing things my way it might have been a different story. But I can't turn back time so I'll just keep focussed on the future. Thanks for still listening after all these years!

The only time it's a bit tricky is when people assume I can do giant live shows and vinyl releases like other artists they follow, but I just don't have the budget or the backing those people do to finance it. But if people are still enjoying the music, that's all that really matters!

I used his pc to put some of your albums onto a usb stick, so I have a hard copy to keep and put to disc and of course, I showed him your music and he’s very very impressed. Oh, I feel a bit silly asking this but I’ve not used a pc or laptop, in years but when downloading your Albums from Bandcamp, my brother noticed that the folder said compressed zip file with MP3’s inside. My brother was like , you must have compressed them but that don’t seem right to me. Is this normal ? Or has my brother got something enabled where when he downloads music to pc, it compresses the files to save space? Im just a bit worried that I’ve downloaded lower quality files then what’s intended.

@@grahamkelly8662 Regarding the comment and general torrents etc I just prefer to let people get on with it, as not really anything I can do about it. There did used to be some positives in terms of people finding my music through places like that, but I'm not really sure it's as prevalent these days with KZread/Spotify being so easy to access. In terms of downloads, when you get the purchase on bandcamp there's an option for what file you download. I think by default it says something like 320kbps MP3, if you click where it says that you can select WAV (or FLAC if you don't have the best internet, but I'd always suggest just getting the WAVs). You should be able to get to the download link again from the email from bandcamp, or possibly just on your own profile (i'm less sure about this one), but any problems just let me know and I can fire some links your way!

@@phaeleh ah, I guess. I actually used to download tons of music but I’ve not been on any torrent sites in over 10 years and I did actually find new artists. 1 in particular was Jah cure. After I downloaded for free , I really liked his music loads and bought all his Vinyl. Regarding downloading albums from your Bandcamp, I signed in a brothers pc, clicked on the heart and all your albums pop up and it just said Download and my brother just simply clicked it. I’m probably worrying over nothing but for instance, if I check my usb stick, right click a song, if it says 320 then that’s full quality, right? I didn’t see any other option, then download. You say wav file is best , maybe if I right clicked on download link, it might say wav. If so, can I burn wav files to cd? Sorry for being a pain in the backside ☺️ Oh, I noticed that it’s possible to listen to ALL your music on Bandcamp, without paying a single penny. Maybe if you cut it down to 1min clips, people would be more inclined to buy? Also, I know I’m an idiot but I can’t help but feel bad about you sitting on loads of unsold albums. Have you thought about listing on discogs? Or you can even message people that want your albums on discogs and just let them know that they can purchase on your Bandcamp page. Because lots are probably unaware.Lost time, embers, tides etc. After I bought your A World Without album on there, I noticed I had lots of messages from people , asking if I want to sell certain Vinyl, in my collection.Probably a silly thought but maybe it’s worth a shot.
