+Colby Isham I was damn close, especially when he started naming everything he'll miss. I'm not a football fan, but I'm a fan of Manning - and any player who dedicates themselves so entirely to their craft - and I wish him nothing but the best. This was an outstanding speech. No shame in your tears, either.

As a Chargers fan enduring what was a horrible 2015 season, I was feeling pretty good about the Jan. 3 game against Denver. With Osweiler at quarterback, my Bolts were leading in the third quarter. It meant only pride to us in a sad season that might have been our last in San Diego, but it meant something to playoff-headed Denver. When Manning put on his helmet in the third quarter, the collective reaction among Bolts fans was 'uh-oh.' You could see it on his face; you could see it in the way he took charge. The boss was back. We list, 20-27. But there was no doubt that the win was due to Manning. He was class then -- and class when he called out in tribute all the players he battled over the years -- including Chargers legend Junior Seau. Got nothing but love for you, Peyton. Best of luck and blue skies ahead.

It's a strange feeling seeing your childhood heroes retire from sports they love and become another name of the list of hall of fame greats. For 18 years I've watched Peyton Manning play football, and he never ceased to amaze me both with his professionalism on and off the football field. Thank you for everything, including that nation-wide jingle that always gets stuck in my head every time it airs on TV. Truly an NFL legend and a class act.

God bless Peyton Manning!
Peyton is unarguably one of the best quarterbacks of all time, and ran the NFL's best and most consistent offense for almost his entire career. I will miss watching Peyton play, every Sunday he made the game so fun to watch, dismantling football's best defenses. You will be missed #18

He went out a champion, even though he was already a champion. God bless you Peyton and thank you for all the memories you have given us from the past 18 years. I'll always consider Peyton Manning to be the finest NFL QB of his generation. He saluted so many great players he played with and against, as well as coaches and support staff. He obviously is grateful to the fans. This was a moving speech, and I really like his ads during NFL pregame shows and during the games. His being in the games has been missed, but, thankfully, he's still there.

What a fuckin speech. Leave it to Peyton to be an absolute class act from the beginning of his career to the end. What separates the legends from the all-star blue chip talent is the amount of modesty and humility that individual has.
I have followed Payton for ever. I'm just a teenager but this man has changed tradition in my family. We always watch the games. Congrats on your last season. You won the Super Bowl for you 200th win. You will be missed. Thanks for the Memories.

Im truly gonna miss him so much. Peyton manning is the greatest now he can go join the greats that he named.Thank you Peyton 1998 was an amazing year i was just turning only 7 but thank you for being in the league for so long 1998-2015 Greatest qb ever ! #18 #omaha #Hurry #Hurry

Even in 2021, it hits different.
Coming from a die hard Brady fan, Peyton is awesome. I have nothing but respect for him and he’s definitely a top 3 QB all time 🐐
Tearsssss! Peyton was the first QB I enjoyed watching (and his brother of course!). I remember cheering for him as a Colt and I cheered for him as a Bronco. I'll miss watching him esp when he got matched up against Eli. Thank you for the wonderful memories Peyton!
If you unliked this video, you either don't like Peyton for some crazy reason or you're an idiot. Even if you don't like football, this is one of the most heartfelt and sincere retirement speeches there has been for an NFL player. Talking with this man and getting to run routes and catch passes with him at the Manning passing academy was a memory I will always cherish. Thank you Peyton for everything you've done and will do for the great game of football.
Best retirement speech ever. Such a great sense of humor and so humble. We love you Peyton. Thank you for 4 years of joy, love and excitement with Denver. The NFL and Bronco fans miss you more than you will ever know. You were the best. Much respect to you Mr. Manning! What a wonderful 18 years you gave us all!! GOAT...
Growing up in Indianapolis and watching Peyton on Sundays are some of the greatest memories of my childhood. No matter as I aged, life changed, priorities mounted, every Sunday I made time to watch Peyton play. I come back to this speech all the time when I need that lift of inspiration in my life and career. God bless this man and the impact he's had on the game and fans like me across the world. Cheers to a childhood hero and and inspiration- this speech brings me to tears every time.

Thanks for the memories, Peyton!
1 more year and he will be in the HOF, can't wait for that speech!
He's an incredible moving, inspiring leader. He's also humble. Just that rare combination along with a pristine work ethic that will set teammate's motivations a blaze for each game. Not just one player, but an entire team. For an entire season. That's why he was so successful. And why you can only compare a few other players in the history of football like him.
To hear someone speak about something with such passion is inspirational. One of the goats with a true love for the game.
This speech was iconic, classic, and admirable. Im going to miss Peyton, he helped my colts become champions, and he was one of the reasons that I love football today. The race is over, Manning. Thank you.

Sad day for football but congratulations to Mr. Manning on a great career and I thank him for his service as a role model for the NFL just when they needed one the most. The league owes him a debt of gratitude.
Peyton Manning retirement from pro football there is just 4 words I have to say to him. Borrowing from the great Bob Hope, here are those 4 words Peyton:"Thanks for the memoires"

I‘ve been a football fan since the 1960s. Following Peyton’s career has been a very special treat. For the past few years I had been telling my Son to enjoy watching him play because there will likely never be another one like him.
His love for the game is contagious. You can see and hear the emotion in every word. He’s one of those guys that would play for ever if he could.
That blew me away. Classy man that will greatly missed.
As a lifetime Patriots fan all I have to say is "God damn I'm gonna miss this guy". There's nothing more entertaining than a Brady Vs. Manning game. Now that there's not going to be anymore is pretty sad. Peyton's one of the greatest QB's to step on a field and the game will never be the same without him. I wish him luck in everything after this.
