That could happen! In the playoff win versus the Eagles, Baker Mayfield threw 3 TDs to 3 different receivers - David Moore, Trey Palmer and Chris Godwin.

All these weapons excited for season to start to see them in action 🎉

Indeed. Should be a fun year ahead for Baker Mayfield.

Palmer has shown WR1 potential since day 1 but has made a few young player mistakes. Both can be special.

This is a great Pewter Pulse video. Solid breakdown on the position battle and delivery. I am curious and I want to know if Liam Coen will use any 4 WR sets. Can you imagine what thise team could do? I think WR 3 sets with White in the backfield will be great but it will all depend upon the OLINE blocking for Baker. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Nathan! Yes, the Bucs will be in 4 WR sets on occasion. He's going to play to the strength of the roster, so if WR4 is a better receiving option than TE1, the usage in 4 WR sets may tick up a bit.

@@PewterReportTV - I have been watching film on Culp and I like what I have seen. The combonation of Culp, and Durham, and Otton should make it hard to NOT use TE1. Although, I think Otton needs to "muscle up" a bit.

Both healthy, McMillan wins out. I see Palmer as a more productive Scottie Miller. Someone to stretch the field. But also can do outs and catch across the middle. The key too me is the TE. Can they block? I know Cade Otton can catch the ball but did he learn how to block in the offseason. Tired of seeing blitzes missed by Otton blow up Rachaad White. Hopefully the back up TE can participate this year some.

Yes, I think McMillan edges out Palmer, too.

Dont forget they got Mayfields top target in college. Shell of himself or not. He should still put up amazing numbers against #4 and #5 DBs. If he regains form, look out.

Great point, Jonathan. Shepard might be revived a bit playing with Mayfield again. That would be a great, unexpected bonus.

@@PewterReportTV could you imagine shepard as #5? How deep is our WR core? I've been saying this all along. We have the best 1-5 WR room in the league. If I was being a homer I'd say in league history hands down.

Good question. Sterling Shepard is not a lock to make the team. I think he's been brought in for some veteran leadership and to provide some insurance in case there's an injury to someone who was likely to make the roster. If the Bucs keep 6 WRs then Shepard has a chance of making the team.

also alot of times canales is throwing baker off his rhythm by being stubborn with the run game.

critics always emphasize that baker needs a running game to be successful..32nd last year..critics talk about baker regression next year, fyi canales didnt help baker last year it was baker helping canales as a 1st year play caller.canales was too conservative worryng too on his coaching ofeers for nx year..u hav to trust baker more if your the oc.his healthy and hungry 2024 season.

Mayfield certainly didn't have a real running game last year, and still thrived. Imagine if White and Irving can put up Chubb and Hunt numbers like they did with Mayfield in Cleveland in 2020.
