Baker had good talent in Cleveland, but he didn't have coaching, strategy, a system built to his skill-set, or "TEAM" players, like he has here.

All you have to do is look at who Baker was replaced with and how that worked out to see how clear-headed Cleveland's management was.

@@donaldpodzikowski8028 Agreed. I love it when Haters point out that "Baker couldn't cut it with other teams". Just consider the sources! Teams like Cleveland and Carolina are two of the worst organizations in the NFL. They haven't achieved that by making GOOD decisions.

He didn't have the same three receiving corp for two consecutive seasons either. It was musical chairs in the passing game.

@@someperson8151 And IMO, OBJ hurt Baker MUCH MORE than he helped him. He killed a lot of drives by dropping 3rd and 4th down passes. And he has stated publicly that he's proud of how well he ad-libs his routes. I think Mayfield prefers to know if you're going to zig, or zag.

You don't know Baker if you think he will relax. Do you not understand the revenge he wants? He had more than one solid season in Cleveland as well. And the year he got hurt he was a top 3 QB in the league at the time and they were rolling. I'm not saying he's winning a Superbowl but he's a top 10 NFL QB all day long. I keep see rankings and anyone putting Kyler Murray in the top 10 ahead of Baker is an idiot.

@danlucas Dan, the Buccaneer secondary will totally improve! The team brought back Jordan Whitehead and sent Ryan "The Dumpster Fire" Neal down the road! The Tykee Smith draft pick was solid and he will make plays. The Jamel Dean will NOT miss time because it is a contract year. The other secondary players the team brought in will add a lot of depth!

Baker is continuing the progress of last year and knows how to handle the offense.

Falcons I have split and who knows by week 5 their qb may be😊 reinjured or can't adjust to the new players. Same with our second meeting with them. N.O. what did they do in the draft to address their aging team? They don't scare me much either. Panthers are a year or two out, depending on the drafts they get. They may purposely play for no 1 draft position.

I have 5 wins before the bye and 6 wins after the bye. If they split N.O. I have 5 and 5. Broncos not worried about Chargers not to concerned about. What do the raiders have. Chargers got rid of all their rec and running back so that will be hard to recover from.

Guys ,guys, and again guys...The Texan game or any other game, our secondary under Todd cannot play zone, db are way to far from wrs allowing catches mid field in every game...if not for "tweeZ" jumping the throws which Carlton and Devin should have done with their busted coverages, we'd have been in deep trouble... ...this season I'll know from 1st 3 preseason games in that backend if this continues ...hope I'm wrong...but if if I'm right Bowles Def. will be exposed against Leam's offense...

Bakers contract is nothing. They have Trevor Lawrence 255 million.

Browns forgot they had 12 consecutive losing seasons before Baker took them to the playoffs. Jacksonville didn't forget they had 13 losing seasons out of 14 before Trevor Lawrence took them to two winning seasons.

Guys , every qb runs, yes every...so , if he's a statue they'll say he's not mobile enough...it's not either or,but both at times... Baker is extremely elusive,which he is not given enough credit... as far as Canales ,we're leaps and bounds better with Leam...sorry

Will Logan Hall make the team? He has done literally nothing to earn a starting position.

Our QB play in 2024 is not going to be good. Baker Mayfield is not what it is at QB.

Baker didn't do anything wrong in Cleveland. They talk about it like he messed up his initial career opportunity but it was the Browns who bet on the wrong horse. Baker was the right horse.
