I’m a believer in Bryce’s abilities. I think he can still be a good QB one day. I wanted Carolina to draft CJ. But I am a believer in Bryce as well.

Bryce shouldn't of been put in so quickly. They have to protect him. His accuracy and throwing arm is amazing. I watched him at Alabama and he was so good with not much talent around him.

Frankie Luvu was our biggest lost in my option. Hell of a player

I honestly don’t get how people where HYPE AF and SOLD that the panthers where a SHOE IN to win the division with a ROOKIE QB… But year 2, MUCH better coaching staff, better defense, more WR weapons, better o line, and honestly the modern QB whisper that is Dave Canales.. People think we’re gonna get 4 wins??? Honestly the sleeping on them is what will give up WAY more wins cause they DEFINITELY will be good.. Like I’ve watched the panthers since birth.. Dave gives me a “John Fox” vibe.. With him at coach and Dan Morgan at GM they are about to REALLY surprise people with how good they are..

We aren't going to win more than 4 games lol how in God's name is the defense better? The whole core left except for Derek Brown and Shaq, and we replaced no one except for some band aids. We don't know the oline will be better.....even though we were sold the 2 guards we signed pretty hard, they are more middle of the pack guards and who knows how they will play in our system and scheme. I could go on and on lol

@@gabesheaffer7757 Defense better cause who did we lose??? Burns who wanted to be paid Aaron Donald money for 7 sacks last year.. And Frankie Luvu (Love Lu btw) 5 sacks?? We gained Clowney 8 sacks (multi year deal FAR less than what Brian wanted when he’s JUST as good a player), DJ Wonnum (8 sacks) Ashawn Robinson whose been a TOP run stopper statistically for the last 5 years.. Oh and we signed the K’Lavon kid and we drafted Trevin Wallace.. Again STATISTICALLY the guards are great and have been for multiple years.. They didn’t try to SELL anyone the guards were good.. If anything even the media SAID “the two possible best guards of free agency have went to the Panthers”… Yeah you could go on and on about how you FEEL but you’d have to ignore FACTS to do so..

big Panthers fan here who follows the team very closely... and i honestly think your assessment here is the most spot-on of any of the many Panthers off-season analysis videos I've seen on KZread. very well done! #keepPounding

I'm not expecting a playoff run this year but I think they'll surprise a lot of people with how much better they are and I truly think within 2-3 years they'll be true contenders. They're making all the right moves and I truly believe Dave Canales is the guy. Looking forward to their success!

As a fan since 95, I can say this owner is the worst thing that could've happened to the Panthers. He's horrible. Even if they start to have success, you can be sure David will find a way to mess it up. I'm sorry.

Keep Pounding! This team is gonna be alright.

Imo the only changes that needed to happen was the oline and moving to run first. This team as a run first is atleast 6 wins if not more if by shows up like he flashed when not veing chased.

I think the attitude adjustment alone is a huge improvement. The good energy and clear vision that Canales brings seems to have team buy in. I'm always hopeful at this time of year, but I'm feeling more encouraged this season Fingers crossed. 🤞

jeremy chinn barely played, burns was mid last year , and donte jackson was horrible and was getting cut anyways. frankie was probably the only true loss on defense last year. but we’ll see ! amazing vid

Chinn not playing wasn't because he was not a good player, it was locker room politics. Personally I think he wanted to go back to linebacker and for some reason he was told no (by snow and evero. He was on thin ice under Wilkes as well). I'll agree Dante didn't play his best ball last year but he's never been great against the #1 receivers, he doesn't handle bigger guys well. You forgot about ygm too, he got snatched up by Wilkes and San Fran within the hour of being let go by us. He may not have been a stat king but he did his job for sure

i appreciate the video. Chinn wasnt a starter, he didnt have a role in this defense. D Jax got torched on the regular. Horn is coming back healthy, Clowney and Wonnum are going to be huge for the defense, Robinson is a dog on the d line as well. I think the roster overall is better. Dont be surprised if they win the South.

Yes picking WR Xavier Legette was definitely a very good pick. This way you give your Qb a chance to grow with a young player that fits your scheme. But the Panthers didn't need to trade up to get him. Because they had the very first pick in the second round and it was very unnecessary to lose picks in the future. Let's Go Steelers Nation ✊🏾

He has this insane stat from last year. After week 11, he had the highest pass accuracy IN THE LEAGUE when throwing to an open receiver. He was tied for next to last for having open receivers to throw to.

The only thing us back now is david tepper tbh

He had less balls batted down than baker, that wasn't the issue. Sacks, poor play calling, and no separation from WR's

I've gotta better feeling this season with Canales than I did when they let go of Wilkes and hired that loser Riech. After they broke even under Wilkes I thought we had a chance too until Teppid decided not to keep Wilkes. As a business man you would think he knew a good thing when he saw it. Well I predict it's gonna be a lot of people surprised at the Panthers performance this season and the NFC south is gonna be shook.

I’ll say this… if baker mayfield can get his bag 💰 under Dave Canales and become a pro bowl QB and win in the playoffs then Bryce Young should have plenty success with him as the head coach… now if he doesn’t… we know for a fact its Bryce Young and his just not an NFL starter … cause if GENO SMITH and BAKER MAYFIELD can be saved by Canales then Bryce should …

I think we can win 5 games

Personally, I don't believe the anticipated gains at the O-line will matter much for this team. 1, because there's still some HUGE question marks at the skills positions, and their abilities to get open. 2, Bryce doesn't ever seem comfortable having to throw, not until the play is blown up. I get it, there's new leadership at the helm. But these guys don't have a legitimate threat anywhere, to keep defenses guessing. They will end up in 3rd and long, or known passing situations way too often. Leaving Young to hold onto the ball too long, and taking hits from big guys. Some of the optimism I've seen, which is common at the beginning of the season, seems laughable. Bryce Young is gun shy, and it's probably going to take a situation elsewhere, working as a backup on a dominant offensive team, in order to regain his composure and have a chance in this league. I hope I'm wrong. But historically speaking, the odds are not in his favor.

yeah, and 9 other teams could have had Mahomes in 2017. what's your point? the vast majority of analysts and scouts had Bryce #1. but Stroud had a better rookie season than almost anyone imagined. that's good for him, but hardly a mark against Carolina.

All you have to do is watch them play and you'll see Stroud knows how to move around in the pocket and get the ball out, while Bryce just tries to escape the pocket and never throws the football. You hold the ball long enough (Bryce had the 10th longest time to throw) and you will get sacked regardless of how good your line is. That narrative is tired and false

He's the most accurate passer the panthers ever had. More than once this pass year.. on 3rd or 4th and a yard or two. They PASSED it for the conversion. Very accurate and decisive..
