I demonstrate how easy it is to melt and work pewter from an old mug or pewter vase... To do the pouring to make a sheet of pewter you need a sheet of Pyrex type glass, or glazed tile perhaps- I haven't tested that, as I have these glass disks used in sealed outdoor uplights (I think).

Pewter is lead and tin right ?

No lead in pewter for drinking at least, it's a common misconception that all pewter has lead. Even in middle ages they knew and guilds controlled the different alloys and prohibited lead in drinking and eating vessels.
