I fell in love with Petula Clark the first time I heard her voice and saw her angelic face on television. Of course, I was in the 5th grade, but after all these years I am still stunned by her beauty and voice. What a classy lady. She will always be my favorite. God bless you Petula Clark. When they made you, they broke the mold.

Aging is a part of life. What does one expect? The real beauty is what is inside of a person through each age. Aging gracefully. Quit acting like a person is suppose to still look like they did when they were young. Again, the REAL BEAUTY THAT IS ON THE INSIDE IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT! SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!

Pet Clark is one of the greatest female Singers (and enduring) Britain has ever produced! Multi-talented from a young child. What people never comment on, is during the sixties (the era she is best associated with) people tend to forget, that nearly 60 yeas ago, and in your late thirties - you were no chicken and knocking on a bit - and Petula was competing with a lot of young talent in tee Music Industry - particularly in the Charts; she did it with ease, and did not look out of place with all the young things, yet she’d been around and in the business long before many of her co-stars were even born! She had no problems with hit after hit! This was no easy feat! She really deserves some kind of an Award for that achievement alone! She’s great! I want to see her reach WAY past 100!

I ave always loved her. She appeared at my local theatre where I booked a box to treat my friends on my fiftieth birthday. Isn't it about time that she received the accolade of Dame of the British Empire for her services as an international star ? Many of her contemporaries have - so about time that she joined their illustrious company here.

I completley agree , why she has never been made a Dame baffles and saddens me .

@FactsVerseUK I found it very interesting to find your post regarding Petula Clark. I do not believe in coincidences. Less than 48 hours ago, a friend mentioned Olivia Newton John and did I enjoy her music. I said yes. I come from a background of music lovers. I immediately said, “Do you remember Petula Clark?” It is with great joy that I know she is alive and well. I thank her for sharing her talent with world. Petula Clark is a Living Legend. Thank you again for sharing. She will be forever remembered. Never forgotten. ❤️🎶

I know Im alot younger than most Petula fans, but I cherish her! If you don't like 50s to 90s pop music, you don't know music. Petula is very special and I play her often. I know the old women in the neighborhood like it too. !! Tears of joy already!

A brilliant singer, in my younger years around 1964, I heard the song "down town "I thought it was a brilliant song and followed, by "don't sleep in subway darling "which was a brilliant number I sure that was the title of the song, but anyhow it was brilliant. 😂❤❤❤

I first heard Monsieur Monsieur play on a jukebox at an Austrian ski resort in 1962 or 1963. I saw her live at University of Notre Dame in 1969 or 1970. Her version of Fool on the Hill was good and memorable. I don't know if she ever recorded this tune. One of the best.
