    The DPF / PPF issue is really tough in BS 6.. The cost of DPF replacement is really very high.. DPF issues ,if not attended immediately, will lead to injector damage.. DPF issues are common in both LNT or SCR Technology.

    I have an bs4 innova 2.8 AT and a bs6 innova 2.4 AT. BS4 returns a fuel economy of 12.5 km avg and BS6 returns a fuel economy of 9.5 km avg . Driven by same person same places but in BS4 I get a 24 % more fuel efficient, quiet and smooth big engine . Government is scamming people to buy more fuel and pay more taxes. Same story with petrol engines which are less fuel efficient compared to diesel engines in the indian driving conditions. How consuming more fuel reduces pollution? Government is just scamming people to buy more fuel in the name of pollution control 🙄

    Good point but i think we can't really blame government for the low fuel efficient engine and its correlation with lower pollution. Basically both the engines have have different configuration(atleast in exhaust treatment). government expects only the manufacturer to adhere with the emission compliance but no restriction with fuel efficiency. so it's upto the manufacturer to use after treatment system and reduce pollution, to do so the engine misses out to be efficient as earlier and also spends fuel in burning the ash collected in DPF.

    Altroz Revotorq 1.5L is a Gem of an engine. But DPF issue and engine strangled ah odura feel kandipa irukum but if you're a diesel lover it won't disappoint. I'm using it daily in coimbatore city bumper to bumper traffic and I go for a trip often (In one year covered 23K kms). My suggestion is to clean o2 sensors and catalytic converter in every oil change service and check the soot level, mostly you won't get DPF issues. If you drive more than 1000kms inside city then do a park regen on your own, it'll help to clear the clog.

    Really wonderful content to whom are looking to buy diesel engine. Because of suzuki only people are thinking ⛽ Diesel ban. Because they don't build diesel engine. But i love diesel engine. Mine is Hyndai Elite 1.4 CRDI 2018 engine clocked 60KM. Working in Bangalore but weekly back to hometown Harur in Dharmapuri district. Still engine is rock solid. If we cross 1500 rpm then turbo will open nice drive. Future i am thinking to upgrade to SUV that time will think to choose😊😊😊. Wonderful content keep it up guys. Create some blogs and write articles it will reach more people.

    Hi - i am wathcing your program for the past 2 years and you are doing good also i would like you to do the podcast on -1 car milage, 2 car safety 3, car performance 4, car easy servicibility 5, entertainment and comfort value etc., you may compare petrol cars with same CC and specs likewise you may compare diesel cars with same cc and specs, it will help people to understand the cars properly- like is with full of compromise and perfection is always in future... thanks do good job

    My Ford freestyle diesel runs without any issues. Too good after the second bs6.1 update work. But mileage dropped to 18-20 .

    Hello team - firstly thanks for doing the podcast on a regular basis. I work in IT and travel to work 3 days a week. Communte time one way os close to an hour.     Azir Anna I own a creta 2020 model bs6 phase 1. Initially I used to get dpf issues very frequently. But off late, dpf issues are not coming a lot. I Don remember the last date of dpf issue recently. Reason they say is a software update !! Pl discuss !!

    Nice to see Danny/Ansan asking all valid questions and it helped Asir bro to re-alter and stick to the point.This topic for users like us is too technical and that’s how it should be isn’t it.Not many can can understand about components seen inside engine bay as when we open engine bay of any BS6 car our first impression is engine components looks very complex.I found out it interesting as engines are heart of any car .

    Flow of air during combustion should go out in the same pressure. If that do not happen, combustion will slow down and so the pick up drops.

    Appreciate the efforts taken to make this content. Why no one actually talks about the torque curve of both the engines(for example, bs4 and bs6 diesel engines compared in this video), by this way we can compare where the engine produces max torque and power. Both the engines may produce same peak torque but at different rpms. Also the dull response will also be a result of the pedal map calibration.

    I feel that brother... i have bs3 apache.... lost month I drove new bs6 apache.. i feel sudden... power loss problem... but.. it has smoother then my apache....and also weight distribution.. sudden overtake my apache... confiten level amazing but... now I doubt bs6...

    Today's bs6 phase 2 vehicles are highly reliable and without any concerning problems. All systems and issues are probably settled more or less perfectly. Bs6 phase 2 diesel Refinement equates petrols and performance overtakes petrols. I own Venue bs6 phase 2 turbo diesel. No issues upto now until 20k kms. Service costs were just 1.5 to 3k in case of free services. Fuel efficiency, fuel cost, performance, refinement all are positive. I definitely recommend diesels for anyone who travels 1500kms or more every month. No big worries or concerns with regard to bs6 phase 2 diesels. You can go for it.... Definitely people will be happy.... Whenever I am in highways no petrols can beat me even bigger cc petrol engines... I am the king and will be the king with my diesel. If u are an driving enthusiast or pleasure seeking person in driving or person who wants to beat everyone who indulge in road rage with you then go for the bs6 phase 2 diesel engines. Purely a joy to ride👍

    Why not ev? Depend the usage ev is better. My native is 285 km from Chennai. Im using nexon ev max for 1.2 years still now its good. Occasionally i do a long trip. Ride quality is far better in evs.

    Respected sir, I own a Venue 2023 DCT CVT vehicle, from Feb 2023. I'm unsatisfied with its milage of less than 10 Kmpl in city. Is it wise to sell it and get another Diesel or Petrol automatic like Carens or Ertiga to save on running cost? What is the milage that carens diesel , petrol automatic gives in real world city driving conditions? Same with ertiga. I drive around 30+ kms per day.

    I had a rapid TDI and moved to ertiga(family car), now bought a sonet 1.5 crdi, since we had a petrol engine in between I don't feel the difference in diesel engine
