Peterbilt 320 Heil Durapack 7000 with Soft Touch Grippers

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I'm sure you all remember the video that ThaThundaStorm posted years ago, the Heil ASL vid. In that video featured one of the original curve shell 7000s that this company bought. Ever since seeing that video I thought it would be really cool to film this company. Unfortunately very little was ever known about route info for these guys. Over time, I've actually gotten video of an EX-Consolidated 7000 (original curve shell) and have located another ex-consolidated 310 7000 still in their colors.
After a little of trial and error as well as just good luck, Bryn (Thrash N Trash) was able to locate some route, unfortunately for me it was all wednesday route. I only have Monday's off from work so that posed a little bit of an issue. After finding out some more routes and getting the motivation to go film these guys, I took a Wednesday off and Bryn and I went out to film these guys. It was certainly one crazy filming trip with a lot going on. Eventually though we managed to hit up every place and filmed every truck minus 1 that we were hoping to see.
This was by far the fastest truck that we filmed, this driver was absolutely flying through the route. It was a lot of fun to film him driving around this little town out in the middle of nowhere. This was actually filmed right around where my video of Sunshine running the Once a Month Wheat Field's route was filmed (the second clip showing all those grass hills was out where the very first clip of that video took place).
Special thanks to this driver for being so chill with us and giving us some information as well as communicating with other drivers. Hope you are able to find this video and enjoy what I was able to put together to showcase your route. Hope you all enjoy this video!

I don't think Ive ever seen a 7K decrease the arm extension mid cycle like what happened at 3:10. It certainly caught my attention. Great to see modern footage of this company, so thanks for going out and filming it!

I've had this unsatisfied fantasy of seeing a 7000 pull that City of LA dump-then-retract movement, so combined with the speed of operation and SSI carts and lids flipping I'll call this a like + success. but that was the only time I saw it in the whole video

TheNVTrashMan haha yeah it’s fast for sure. Nope! Definitely not republic related. This is the same family that owns BDI hence the paint scheme being the Same just instead of blues and greens it’s browns

@@westcoastrefusetrucks Close. Owner of this company bought a little portion of rural Grant County from his uncle in 1978. His uncle kept the BDI area.

This truck is really fast, doing about 6 second dump cycles. That’s impressive. What is up with the logo, like the two states and “grant Adams” lol. Why were a few lids open before collection? Interesting how they were allowed to use the name consolidated, really messes with me when I see them as I normally think of the light blue trucks they had in LA County. It’s nice to see a 7000 as they arent made anymore :(.

Consolidated Disposal Service Inc (Wa state) started Sept, 1978. After doing some digging on the net I found that Consolidated Disposal Service LLC came about in 1998.
