Listen bro I was a kid when this came out and although HipHop is my sport, this genre is definitely me all day. This particular song is one of my top songs from that era and yes David Bowie Lost Boys vibe is definitely filled with classics! I'm talkin the Benny Hill Monty Python Eddie Murphy days

You're definitely right about picking up some Bowie vibes. Vampire Bowie. Peter Murphy is amazing though. I've always adored the darkness in his voice. He also has the most ridiculously sharp cheekbones I've ever seen....

In fact, Bauhaus had a cameo appearance in that David Bowie vampire movie 'The Hunger' (1983) while performing a ROCKING cover version of that iconic Bowie song! 🤘🏾😎🦇🖤⚡

You were spot on with the fact he is heavily influenced by Bowie. He is an amazing artist and has contributed and influenced many others throughout his career with bauhaus as well as his solo career. So glad I got to see him and Bauhaus open for NIN back in 2006. Glad you enjoyed it.

Not sure why you say that? The closest they came to ever working with Bowie was when they were shown playing Bela Lugosi is dead in a club for the opening credits for The Hunger, a vampire movie Bowie starred in. They did ask him to collaborate but he turned them down. Peter Murphy was heavily influenced by Bowie. I personally think Peter Murphy gives a better Bowie than Bowie! 🥵
