Peter Kay, a man who can lift a room just by being in it. Every thing he does is good for a laugh. His singing voice is good, comic timing is excellent, another Ronnie Barker. The Kay u-tube clips are almost a daily tonic in our house, we all love him, just wish he`d do more.

@@jamielegg8553 Have met him. Used to be a coach driver and have taken many people to see him over the years. Shook his hand a couple of times, firm handshake, wished him good luck with the show, that`s as much as I`ve met him. Seems a genuinely nice fella. Always enjoyed his shows so have the fans on the coach, always played his DVD`s on the way back at passengers request, they couldn`t get enough of him. What`s your claim to fame, bet your a laugh a minute.

Class act...love everything about Peter Kay he is one of the best ever.

Peter has the X Factor without humiliating himself with a tragic story for votes. He's got integrity and humility. A true gem and I wish him and his family the very best ❤ He's a pure comedian like Morcombe and Wise to name one xxx

Love it! He's no Sinatra but he is a performer who could be tone deaf and tunelessly sing the phone book and still be better than some of the proper singers out there today...

What, perhaps, goes largely unnoticed, is the reason we love Peter Kay is because he's reviving the entertainment of old that we all miss. He's an absolute genius, but what I can't understand is if we love the 'old' entertainment so much, why don't entertainers just do it rather than just using Peter Kay as a window or conduit through which it's seemingly acceptable for us to view it (Little Britain did something similar but Matt Lucas now very much shies away from many of his mockery characters/caricatures). Peter's like a history book and we're pining for times gone by. It's all a bit bizarre and I suspect modern-day performers are scared of being cancelled for not being P.C. enough...

He's no Nat King Cole either : )
