Peter Kay shows off huge weight loss in rare public appearance
Peter Kay looked considerably slimmer in a recent selfie taken after a show.
The comedian, 49, is performing at the O2 in London after taking a 12-year-break from the spotlight due to "unforeseen family circumstances". Musician Bryan Edery uploaded a video of the pair at the sold-out venue in which Peter was virtually unrecognisable from his days on BBC's Car Share.

Losing weight is also a sign of severe illness, and we all know Peter has been unwell in recent years.

@@platypusbilledduck Yes, since before 2020 it has been common knowledge he was unwell. I remember Lenny Henry wishing him all the best with his health at the time of the Big Night In for the BBC in 2020.
Peter has been very ill. I know this because l'm good friends with Connie.... you know Connie... Connie Connie....we used to go to school together.. she ate crayons. You know the one . Haha Absolutely love Peter. I'm so happy to see him touring again. Caught him in Nottingham. His show was wonderful ❤All the best Pete ❤ you are a genius ❤
