Peter - Congratulations on the announcement that you will be Inducted as a member of the prestigious "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" in October ! I was in the audience back on 14 June 1975 at Winterland with my then girlfriend (I am almost exactly 2 years older than you as my 76th birthday was a couple of days ago), and because Bill Graham announced before you and your band hit the stage that the concert would "be recorded for a live album", we in the audience were sure to applause, scream and whistle as loud as we all could. When the "Frampton Comes Alive!" double album hit the record stores I purchased it and - I didn't even look at the track listing inside in my haste to listen to it as soon as I returned home. What I heard was "total recall" for me, so I knew the 14 June concert at Winterland was on the vinyl disc, much to me and my GF's delight = we were bragging to our friends later: "We were there in the audience screaming and clapping during this song... and the song after!", etc.. Many years passed, I moved from San Francisco to Santa Monica (Southern California) and then I saw you again at the Orange County Fair in Pomona several years ago. There I was sitting amongst fellow fans of yours, but there were also younger folks that just wanted to see the live concert that night, I believe. The highlight was that since it was an "open air concert", half way through your concert 100's more people (about our age) started rushing in... in a short time it was SRO in the stands = they probably heard some familiar songs from radio during the late 70s wafting in the wind from the speakers, and purchased tickets to see you perform. Peter - I want to wish you a very Happy !%th Birthday, and thank you for never giving up "doing what you do" !

One of the best players out there. I don't think Peter knows how much we love him ....
Our Sweet George ! Great great rendition by the great Mr Frampton
Every time I watch him play, I am struck by how much he appears to really be enjoying it
