It'd be a horrible shame if he's not put into the HOF before he dies.

Pete played all out, and led his teams to glory. Had he come clean about betting, vice denying for years, he'd be in the he HOF, and baseball would be better for it. Damn shame.

@rockit730 So you don't allow him to work for a club or be a manager. Hell, Willy Mayes was a fucking ad man for a god damn casino. Which looks worse, but Say Hey is still in the HOF.

A pure HOF. Nice to see Johnny Bench there... would be nice for him to support the efforts of bringing Pete Rose where he belongs in the HOF... in fact Rose is greater than Bench for that matter.

I'm a Mets fan. But I remember the Reds in the bid red machine days. Forget the hype on some of these guys. I remember the Reds as players, and the most dangerous man on that team was clearly Tony Perez. The guy was an RBI machine. He was beyond belief.

The nay sayers can say what they want! Pete Rose was the only one that was caught gambling illegally, which he got barred indefinitely from baseball! I'm glad he confessed his wrong doing, and he paid his dues, so it's time for him for him to be reinstated, just so he can be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame that he truly deserves!
