This was the very first song Neil & Chris wrote together!

When I went to see them live at Wembley, I had the CD single of this with me. I passed it into their limo and it came back with Chris’s signature on it. Ah, the memories.

This song is almost...perfect

Typical song that grows in you. I didn't like it that much the first time I heard it but today I love it.

Ignore the video and , if you've been in this position your life, just close your eyes and listen to the lyrics. Such a great song. One of my all time favorites

Great choice. Another fantastic song by the psb. Catchy or not their ballads are always beautiful and special.

THE WAY IT USED TO BE is probably one of the most beautiful and emotional songs of all, by the Pet Shop Boys.

Never liked that song, especially against such brilliant tracks as KINGS CROSS, BEING BORING or IN DENIAL :)... But tastes are different, and thats good :)

This was a hit here in the UK, it's a great song. There's a great 12" with Neil receiting a poem.

The 12" is great indeed. It's got more orchestra, more music, more everything.

This album "Behaviour" is more orchestral-pop and is a departure for them but also beloved by fans.

I have always loved this track

PSB is my absolute favorite band/duo & I do like this song as it grew on me, but I didn't care for it when I first heard it. Their catalogue is beyond vast! Releasing a new album every 2-3yrs on average since their 1st in the early 80's. This was definitely a ballad for them which is very rare. Much of their work is upbeat music with dark undertones lyrically. Thanks Dereck!

Their first album is from 1986.

It is an absolutely beautiful record, I love it, the bouncer on the door and closes it at the end is Dainton who was their actual personal body guard, they got him to play parts in a few videos, “So hard”was another. Unfortunately he passed a few years ago after a car crash. RIP!

Jealous is a fantastic song. The 12" is amazing.

The song brings me time going in army in fall 1991, Electronic's Disappointed (Neil T.) was song played my releasing in Autumn 1992, has kind farewell melancholy sound in it. So beautifull memories! Reminds a bit like King's cross.

It's actually one of my favourites as I love the orchestration, with "Two Divided By Zero" another relatively unknown favourite of mine. If you're looking for something more uptempo, I know it's been a while since you looked at Miley Cyrus, but have you heard "Who Owns My Heart" - believe me, you'll go totally Bananas 👍🍌👍

We know the best orchestral PSB song is Left to my own Devices (specially the full version, not the single one).

A bit more obscure PSB song. Know it, have definitely heard it several times in the past, but not anytime recently. You might try "So Hard" if you're going into more offbeat PSB.

My favorite bands thought times are ABBA and Pet Shop Boys! I love you do reacting them! I do like PSB more calm songs! Rent is a great one as well! Cheers!

This was on their "Behavior" album. At the time the boys were fed up to always hear the music critics say that their music sounded always the same. So they made this entire album of ballads and moody songs with only 3 tracks being very dance. Then what must happen happened, this album was one of their least successful but it has now like a cult following around it (some people saying it is actually their best : I do not think that but a lot of fans do). I always liked their dancepop more. "Jealousy" is actually one of the very first song the boys wrote and they waited their 4th full length album to finally release it. The song is nice but I'm not a very big fan of it. I much prefer the dance single of the same album called "So Hard' which is very dance music, almost disco, using analog synths : this is the style of the Pet Shop Boys I prefer. Because they make dance music like no-one else. For me that's what they're known for and good at.

Behaviour is a fantastic album.

I always liked this but the best title song of jealousy is by Will Young hands down. Check it out.

MOre than "Post Analysis Reaction" must be a "Post Reaction Analysis"!!! Tha Analysis once the live reaction is over...

I do like The Pet Shop Boys though this song for me was just ok. Thumbs up for the reaction which never disappoints.
