Perth Airport, W.A. 60 years in 30 minutes.
Western Australia embraced air travel, even before Qantas was formed.
Yet Perth Airport didn't come about until 1942. In the next sixty years a huge variety of aircraft visited. Here are rare pictures of some of those aircraft.

wow, plane spotting here in perth must have been 10x better with all these fantastic planes that went here. Theres not such a variety like before, just looking at how it was before amazes me, i never knew the concorde was here before too!
Very much enjoying this & naming the planes as fast as I can before looking. I believe @

Thank you - very interesting with many memories for an MMA “Old Boiler”
Thanks for the memories and 'brain reminders' of times past. I loved standing at aookout on top of the main building and watching flights of all sizes land an later take-off. We were so close. . We were there and both felt and heard the roar of both jet and turboprops' sounds. Again, thanks for the memories
Amazing information
Sad not to see a Wards Express Learjet in the air freight section. That service offered was well ahead of its time.
