Yesterday Qantas and Perth Airport reached an agreement for Qantas to move across by 2031. The parallel runway should be complete by 2028 and the new terminals being complete by 2031. More news is Jetstar will be moved out of T3 in September of 2024 and will be moved to Terminal 2, on the other side of the airport. Adding to the T3 International, Perth to Rome and Perth to Paris will be starting in the next 2 months. In Total, the new runway and terminals is projected to be around $5 Billion AUD. This was all released on May 31st, 2024
The airport line tunnels will also be the fastest in the country at 130kp/h quite impressive
You did some solid research there mate. Perth really is on the move these days. Subbed 👍
w this is amazing underrrated
as a Perth residence this video is awsome to watch
As I commented on your Part 1 of this video, thanks for researching, compiling and posting. There is always works going on at airports, that will never change, and your concise explanation of Perth Airport works is great. Keep up the great work. Thanks. DM.
I used to live in a noise polution area in Perth, for the apporach into RW03, you get used to it after a whlie, id hear planes every 15 minutes.
I was on the airport rail tunnel project on tbm Grace was a interesting project
Great Video! Really enjoyed it, only things I feel I should say as a regular at Perth Airport is that Virgin Australia primarily operates out of T1 not T2, they have a couple flights there but T2 is mainly charter flights for mining by Alliance Airlines and regional services by Rex. T1 is also the main international terminal, only Qantas operates international flight out of T3, T4 is just domestic Qantas.

Actually there are more Virgin flights out of T2 than Alliance and Rex combined. T1 International which has all International flights except for Qantas International Flights. T1 Domestic which is only Virgin Domestic flights T2 Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, Alliance, Rex T3/T4 Qantas Domestic and International (Only T3). Hope this explains it better.
Wait till you come to New Zealand my friend building projects are always being canceled or pushed back
Are you going to do a video about Christchurch airport start to finish
Great video. So much info. Well done.
Thanks for another great video
Great video! You earned a sub.
Awesome video! Love the effort you’re putting into the videos, they’re so entertaining (idk how you haven’t got 10K subs yet) I think you should do a poll to see what airport you do next?

Ya know what - I reckon I will!
In regards to noise, I live directly to the west of the airport and there are times EACH week that I could almost touch the wheels as planes go overhead to land or take off. I’m in line with the short runway which is used when there is bad weather or when there is maintenance and /or repairs being done to the main runway. These works usually occur every second Friday. The vibrations are enough to cause all my pictures to become squint, my windows shake, I have to pause when speaking on the telephone every time a plane comes over head and I can’t wear my hearing aids on those days as the noise through my hearing aids is horrendous! We’ve put in extra thick insulation to help reduce noise levels but can’t afford double glazing on the windows as I’m on a disability pension and we’ve applied through the website and never got anywhere.

It was literally your choice to live next to a god dame capital city airport. stop your bloody whining.
hi mate it is a really good video that you made and I just wanted to tell you something, since my friend is a perth airport machancian in perth airport during the 1970s. He told me that the airport was very small in the 70s, it only changed a little in the 80s with the international terminal.
I didn't even know they have 4-5 terminals thanks for the info,could you do JFK airport next please
Amazing video! Just a quick question, do you know which year aerobridges was implemented at Perth Airport?
2:49 I've been in gate 53 on 24 January this year but why were gates 52,53 and 54 needing to be upgraded? (for callsign: XAX327, D7237, AirAsiaX flight from Perth to Kuala Lumpur on 9M-XXQ, Airbus A330-343 powered by 2 Rolls Royce Trent 772B-60 engines.)
Nicked named the death star

Hey! I’ll make a community post about that video in a few weeks. For reasons that will soon be revealed, I have had to temporarily de-list the video. It’ll be back up soon! If you need it for one reason or another, I’m happy to provide you with a link to it!

@@xthompsongunx Thanks for answering so quick, seriously love the vids btw.👍
What would happen to the current T3/T4 under the airport terminal consolidation plan?
@CarstenBauer
Жыл бұрын
They plan is to turn it into a business park. Or maybe Cobham would move there.
NO. Only QF uses T3/T4 for International
I cant see this happening for a long because Perth airport takes so long to do things
I must ask, but what other international airlines use T3 and T4 for transfer flights?
@xthompsongunx
Жыл бұрын
From what my research indicated, Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Qatar Airways are the primary international airlines that use terminals 3 and 4 alongside Qantas.
