Japan never really stopped scoring goals. It's only the western industry that is in such decay. There are really only a handful of genuinely bad Japanese AAAs: Metal Gear Survive is probably the only truly terrible one with no redeeming qualities. Most Sonic games would fit here, but some of the worst ones are made in the US. Street Fighter VI arguably does as well. Balan Wonderworld is one more recent example.

Give yourself some space to feel what you need to feel though. Finding comfort in gaming is fine, distracting yourself from the pain is just pushing it away. It will come back. Just saying don’t binge all day to numb yourself, it won’t help as much as you think if at all.

This and P4 were the games that solely taught me english. I'm thrilled to play this!

Hard to argue. There’s Persona 3 at the beginning of February, FF7 Rebirth at the end of the month, plus Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Rise of the Ronin coming in March. Lots of reasons to be excited!

Persona 3 to me is a 10 by far. Can't wait for reload!!!

as someone who’s only played persona, the SMT games dont appear as stylish or polished as the persona games. idk what the major differences are but my fav part of persona is the social links and day to day sim, story/characters. the combat is meh imo. is SMT better?

​@@thugbuttersmt leans more towards environmental storytelling and gameplay, it heavily emphasises world building and religious themes over style. Grinding is absolutely optional, as there are many strategies and weaknesses that you can exploit by making use of smt's press turn systems.

Had no idea there was even a reload/remake version! If this has optional voice language, I'll go buy it right now.

No, it did not. P3 is still as great as it has always been: the best game in the series. It's this shitty demake that shouldn't have happened. Censorship + butchered art / OST is never justifiable.

being able to watch a wolf pack documentary with Koromaru has set an unbelievably high bar in the "can you pet the dog?" catagory
