I have lived in southern California for the past 48 years, out of necessity taken the bus twice and the metro once. A lot of shady people ride the public transportation. When I am in Europe I have no problem taking public transportation I ride on it 4 times a day.

That's literally what I've seen quite often while being back in SoCal after having been gone for many years. Just last week, I witnessed a blkguy in one of the hood cities get out of his car while at a light and threaten a Latino male and what was probably his woman. The woman was at the wheel and the Latino guy got out of the car. She pulled him back in real quick bc she knew it would likely escalate to this. Blkmales are unhinged and are usually trying to prove themselves as tougher than everybody. Their whole life depends on that reputation. Saying all this as a minority myself.

I left MTA after driving for 12 years back in January of 2022. I gradually got to see the city decline and unfortunately this has been something the MTA has been sweeping under the rug for years. Transit issues has grown so exponential that it can no longer be ignored. I typed a 400 page diary during COVID that im working on getting published. I could no longer handle the daily stress that came with that job. Be thankful for the operators that come to work daily to get the city of LA to and from, its a very tough job.

Also, there is a reason why your credit score is very important and why lenders will only lend to those they dont see as a risk and know will make payments as agreed. You dont need to be rich to get a credit card with a high credit limit. You just need to show them that you are responsible about money based on your score.

Metro Transit system sucks to many sensless incidents with people loosing their life's, there's no safety and no accountability. We pay our fare and still have homeless or unstable mental people everywhere using the system as shelter.
