    Glad u girls enjoyed persian food :) btw mirza ghasemi is not burnt. the eggplants are grilled so it tastes smokey in the final result.

    The Mirza-ghasemi isn't burned actually. For making this food, you have to cook the eggplant fisrt and then mash it. A lot of people grill the eggplant so it's healthier (there's less oil comparing to frying it) and Iranian usually like that smokey taste. That's why it taste like that. Nice video btw 😊👍🏻

    thank you for trying my recommendation angels💗 the dolmeh is a bit polarising so i totally understand why you might not have liked the texture, shame the mirza ghasemi tasted burnt but i appreciate you trying!

    Guys that mirzaqasemi includes eggplant, which is grilled, so the smoki taste is normal for that

    And dolme is also an appetizer that is quite delicious, some people eat it sweet and some eat it spicy and sour. You can put it in sauce or eat it with wine

    That is saffron sauce, saffron is the most expensive spice in the world And the food that tastes burnt because all the ingredients inside it are smoked and has a special recipe, it is an appetizer and is served with appropriate supplements.

    Iran used to be called Persia (and before that there was the Persian empire) and Persian is one of Iran's ethnic groups but Iranian and Persian are commonly used interchangeably tbh. If I had to compare it, I'd say it's similar to how you'd call an someone from Iraq an Arab (having said that, not all Iranians are Persian)

    Thank you for trying Iranian cuisine, ladies but don't be put off by that Dolma or Mirza Ghasemi from Behesht because these recipes are from Northern and Northwestern parts of Iran. If prepared by the people from those regions, it's the most delicious mezes or starters. I also want to add, please try Kashke bademjan next time and instead of Behesht restaurant, try Iranzamin in Finchley. The kebabs and starters are more western Iranian and much, much better.

    Mirza Ghasemi has a smoky taste because the eggplant is grilled. But in my opinion, what you ate was not cooked and was very juicy and it didn't even have eggs!
