Hey, Momma, I get it ! We need stuff - we always want to prepared! I always carried a small 1st aid kit in my saddle bags, there were several times it was needed, and no one else had one. I am a small person, never weighed more than 115, and light saddle. Never liked wimpy horses so never worried about a little extra weight.😊 Merry Christmas to you all!

Great important detail DeWayne. Looks like not only would you not lose your bags but the string is so solid it will keep your bedroll & slicker from tearing off in the bush, which has happened to me. 😃 I also hope sometime you will do a video on detail of tying up that light weight rope halter you use. I briefly tried leathercrafting. I could get the hang of it. Sewing, lacing, and attaching hardware mystified me. I must have ruined a thousand rivots (and similar hardware) before giving up.

Hey Dwayne, I currently work for a bank whose policy is against growing a beard but I love having facial hair cause it boost my confidence. What would you do in my shoes? I grow it out but they keep coming to me to shave it down. I don’t deal with customers so I have no need for a “professional” appearance. Thanks

Unfortunately if that's their policy, the only choices you have are to follow the rules or quit. But a beard may not be worth losing a good and stable job

1:00 now hold up for a second there. You can be a guy and have fancy tooling on your saddle. Men have been riding on fancy saddles for thousands of years. Just because a saddle is meant to be rugged doesn’t mean you can’t have some nice artwork on it…..was a funny joke though
