Peritoneum in clingfilm
I try to describe the peritoneum of the abdomen using clingfilm and anatomical plastic models. This includes the mesenteries, parietal and visceral peritoneum, the lesser sac and greater sac, and the lesser omentum and greater omentum. Thanks to Mr Brown.

For the first time in 25 years i got a spatial orientation of the Peritoneum, mesentery , the two sacs and the epiploic foramen. These only seemed like words earlier. Brilliant. Every first year medical student should watch this video.

You are a true teacher. My professor "tried" to teach us this using abstract terms, static images or animations from the 80's and worst of all... a lack of passion. I don't know what I would do without your videos.
as a visual learner this was incredibly helpful.
This is how anatomy needs to be taught!! And u look like a cross between House and AB de Villiers 😁
Just watching this as a 6th yr medical student all i can say is "OMG"... and i wish i had seen this earlier! just amazing explanation with visuals. I love the clingfilm analogy. I will remember this for life. Thank you!
I'm from Korea learning human anatomy in medical school. I finally understood peritoneum and peritoneal cavity by this lecture in this channel. Thank you so much professor. I subscribed this channel.
Thank you for your sincere efforts I've never seen someone explain so passionately as you do. I don't know how to repay you. I had an exam last February and I was asked to mention the branches of the seventh cranial nerve and I had listened and enjoyed your lectures and remembered how you put your hand on your face so I answered it was easy thanks to you I got "very good " thank God for showing me your videos
You actually look a lot like House it's really odd ☺ thanks for the video 👌

Such an incredible professor! If I could I'd enroll in your classes. Thank you so much, not only does this help us understand peritoneum but it's also comforting to see a professor who loves what he does and wants to help students.
OMG - Sam - THANKYOU so much for explaining this in this way - several lectures later and i was struggling to wrap my clingfilm brain around a 3 D concept - now I see it...thanks for being casual but concise - you kept my attention AND i retained it! AWESOME.
Such a crystal clear video deserves million views!
very innovative idea to teach omentum... i never understood omentum.... but now it's so easy... doctor house!

You are amazing explaination. Thanks so much and I understand it a lot. Better than prof..
Such a great explanation and beautiful demonstration of the most difficult to understand topic. Peritoneum is a very feared topic of anatomy but you have explained it with such an ease. Commendable efforts!!!!! Thank you very much for making our journey easy. Your videos depict that anatomy is so much fun if the teacher makes you feel the subject. Hats off to you Sir😊😊
Big thank you! And a wish/suggestion: a video on spatial relations between abdominal organs and projections of organs.
Just discovered this page today, 2nd year mbbs student. Even the lecturer struggled to teach this topic in class. Thanks so much 😂❤
Got this in 2021, just a month away from my exams. It has helped alot, thanks always Sams
