That Road Sofa Seat looks Fantastic! I Love It!

I had a Saddlemen and couldn't wait to get rid of it! Went with the Mustang Super Touring, so more comfortable!

I love how the new harley bars are much more straight t-bar like design. That would work wonderfully until you can make the risers and handle bars upgrade.

I got the Robert Becker seat lock. Veteran owned and keys are specific to lock can get their back locks so only have to have one key if you want.

I got my saddlemen SDC seat about a month ago and also bought that security screw but didn’t think it was to hard to steal if you had half a brain so I purchased ROBERT BECKER DESIGN SEAT LOX. I didn’t get it delivered yet but I think it will work better than just the security screw from saddlemen. That seat you got looks sweet. Looking forward to meeting you at the HD Homecoming in July. Both seats look great. I like the road sofa as a good all around seat. Especially having the removable backrest. Having a problematic back i love having a backrest. I ordered a road sofa a couple weeks ago.

Robert Becker seat locks are the best. Anyone with that key can still get your seat taken.

Love my Road Sofa, it does raise me up about 7/8” and it’s taken me about 1k miles to get used to that (I’ve got short legs..) seat is broke in now with about 3k miles on it since last August. I’m probably in the minority, however I like the looks of the road sofa on your bike better than the tuck and roll - which does look good, I’m just more partial to the touring look. Either way you can’t go wrong with a Saddleman

That’s a beautiful seat! Might have to look into one for my 2012 Road glide! But that road sofa would be nice also!

Hey John, just put a step up seat on my street glide I’ve seen some negative comments about the seat on other videos but like anything else I trust my rear end and so far it’s a comfortable seat.

I have the same setup on my 19 RGS. I use the Road Sofa for long trips and the step up for around town. I have 64k on my road sofa and it’s still in great shape.

Just ordered the road sofa through your link. Gotta keep the wife happy. She's not a fan of the CVO stock seat. Neither am I. It's a win win situation! Thanks John!

Love the seat, in fact I now have one because of mad max, I like the diamond stitch on the passenger seat, just like you had on mad maxx , looks a little plain on the passenger seat.

I have this seat on my 24 road glide and it does raise you about an inch and pushes you forward. It may be because it's new and will break in, but it definitely pushes you up and forward.

I got the SDC and its WAY more comfortable than the step up IMO Looks good tho.

Hey John... I have 3 different seats on my custom Road King.. I have Mustang full tour with backrest when I put the fairing and tourpak on...I have a Danny Grey Butt Crack solo when I ride solo and am going for a clean look... And a stock seat.. hopefully some of those other guys will realize its "OKay" to have more than one seat ....lol.. Lookin good Brother!!!

Hey John Bike is looking great I have one in the Whiskey Fire color. I dont know if you know this but those flat plastic pieces on the bottom of your side covers pop off, there to protect the paint from passenger boots. looks way better with them off especially if you dont ride two up. just a heads up

Hi John. Love the videos. I am traveling from Florida to Pennsylvania in June. Where do you keep your Sunpass/EZ Pass? Will it work in the saddlebag/fairing? I usually don’t ride with the pass in Florida since they automatically read my registered license plate. I don’t think all states do that though. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

When you pulled out of the garage, you had it loaded with foot over the rear brake and kept it loaded I don’t have one, but I think the RoadSofa looks better on your touring bike.

@John do you like the tuck and roll over the other options for comfort or aesthetics?

I think the big road sofa Seat go with a turpack. They look good together. One doesn't look right without the other. Be careful, ride safe.

If the seat ain't comfortable and you want it because it supposedly fits your style, that's ridiculous!! Comfort is the most important thing to have on your bike!! If the seat fits your bike it fits your style! Now if you only bar hop and go for ice cream and 20 miles then being comfortable doesn't matter 😜

Hey I am torn between the SDC PRO and this step up. What makes you chose step up over SDC?

Looking at purchasing the road sofa. Does the standard seem to keep you in the stock position? My Harley sundowner pushes me ahead.

Nah, new seat doesn't look like it fits the bike. Looks like it should be on a Low Rider ST. You won't use the Road Sofa, i.e. the white seat for Mad Max. So send the Road Sofa to me. I'll use the hell out of it and then give you a real review
