Ok what I see is too much oil on that board😅 I mean you are not supposed to soak it in oil, especially when it's a newer guitar like that, I think the saddle is quite low now which might be fine, but you definitely loose some vibration transfer when playing this low on an acoustic, most people want an acoustic to feel like their electric guitar but that's just not possible and doesn't make sense🤘🏻

There is no break angle on this setup. Sanding the saddle that low might affect the guitar's intonation, bridge must be trimmed together with the saddle slot so that break angle won't be compromised.

Not so easy man! You must play every string at every fret to check if at full strenght picking the string doesen't whip against the fret. Any brand, metal kind and gauge of strings need different setup, and sometimes on some acoustic guitar is pratically impossible to have the perfect sound on each string, and needs to have bridge inclination modified or some frets sanded to make thoese lower.😜

@@markkurucar216 Ha ha, the longer people do things slightly wrong, the more we believe we are doing things okay. I am a suspect too. Example? Many people never even think about what tuning we use. It is darn equal temperament, because everybody has that, and many people do not even understand what it is. When the guitar player only plays a handful of chords, and when he plays all by himself or herself, well, you might consider cutting and shifting some frets. Again, no offense, probably you BOTH know such things. Of course you got a fretless guitar, too. Just like I do. You never hear fret buzz, on a fretless guitar. Setup can be lower, and the risk of buzz is back. But okay, what do you all need these frets for, anyway? Ever thought about that? Just asking, just asking. It's a wake up call, that's all. A violin owner would kill you, if you had the guts to install frets on the violin. Why is that? Huh? Maybe it is time for changing?

That oil you must wipe in circles, 15 minutes after applying. Then the oil will cure, it gets solid. And that is why is does NOT get to your strings. Read the text on the bottle of linseed oil. You see if it works fine for other oil. Besides, do not apply too much oil. Too much means, well, too much. Am I really typing this? Yes, sometimes the obvious is not obvious enough. Good luck. Please try wiping out your drip of oil very franticly, dry cloth, and see how it works out. Almond oil smells great. How does Krylon smell? Like dyneema?

@voornaam3191 as an Painter, I've never found linseed oil to be durable for being touched with fingers, it can get sticky clumpy in time, hence, the need to keep redoing it. Urethane oil base clear is more resistant to salt and skin oil and doesn't clump up ever. Less maintenance.

Are you suggesting that you hear a difference with trimmed strings? If it was even humanly possible to denote such a difference it wouldn’t benefit for any vibration to fizzle out through untrimmed strings. You want all vibration going through the bridge and nut. Any movement left past the nut, which is practically nil should go through the tuners.

@@x5-acousticguitarstuff.2yes it is entirely too low. The next time instead of pitching the neck they'll just sand away at the top of the bridge so they can lower it even more. .....or perhaps saw slots into the bridge so the strings break closer to the saddle so it can go lower. I see these kinds of hack repairs all the time. Either that thing was insanely under pitched from the factory or he's expecting it to play like a Les Paul. It looks pretty new.

Hack---- wrong. All wrong, you did nothing but bugger the intonation more and destroy the break angle- no truss rod adjustment, no nut work, not fret work. I have zero respect for this at all. Not sorry.
