anong height ng saddle mo sir?
A well produced and informative video. I have watched many instructional videos on intonation and guitar action which have helped me lower my action and improve playability, but this is the best I have seen to date and the additional detail i.e. measurement at the bridge and adjustment of the saddle using your Excel calculation is so useful Thank you Mark.
Clear, concise, digestible ..the best I've seen online...Thank you!

This is the best tutorial I've ever seen. Well done. I'm so glad I found this video, I'd be completely lost.
yes that is the best tutorial I have seen in all my searches, now I know what to do and can hardly wait to get started on mine. Thanks
The best video tutorial on KZread about guitar action adjustments! Thank you sir! 😇
Wow you really went thru all that trig to give us an accurate calculation. Respect!
Very useful and comprehensive. I've so many videos about this but I never found as systematic yet really understandable tutorial. Thank you so much for making this video.
what an amazing video. Ive always been so skeptical doing this myself, and have gone through so many videos trying to figure out what exactly to do. Your video was miles above the rest and insanely informative! im speechless with how much I just learned. Thank you so so much!
This is my go to video whenever i want to adjust the action of my guitars, very reliable video.. thanks!
Thanks. I was looking for something to figure out lowering my saddle, and this is perfectly explained.
This is so clear, i like the way you break it down into sections.. thanks man
Mark you are amazing! I was afraid to set up the guitar by myself but with your tutorial I set up the guitar successfully and now I really enjoy playing the guitar! Thanks!!

You just have to try it and experiment with it, I have an Ibanez with a Floyd rose and I was too scared to set the guitar up but it needed it badly and I didn't have money for it at the time, so I just took a chance and gave it a try, it took me a while but I learned a lot from it and I can set almost any guitar up now :)

thanks man, I fixed my new/old Yamaha with a truss rod adjustment. You just saved me $75 bucks that I thought I'd have to spend for s set up! Plays perfect now!
The sudden language woke me up 😂
Amazing video, I've been looking for a tutorial like that for ages, thank you very much!!!
How is this guy at such a young age has all these knowledge!?! Thanks much for the great content!
Bro I've seen so many videos on thistopic but your video is soo detailed , I just loved it Thank you soo much❤️❤️
Thanks for this. I’m about to set about adjusting the action on my acoustic for the first time and I’m much less scared now!
Your a Legend brother, thank you, I'm a begginer and my finger had been hurting since I started playing because action was too high. I did everything you said and its so much easier to play bro, thank you, your the real rock star 🍻👑
Thank you for the help Mark. Really valuable information. Thanks for the saddle height calculator.
Nice video on adjusting the string action. I had a guitar with a decent nut, but no relief and a high saddle. I thought my string action was good but I was fooling myself because without the relief it had me fighting with the strings and making my playing harder instead of more fluid. After adding slight relief and removing just a touch of material from the saddle, I was able to correct the issue and now enjoy playing my dreadnought acoustic more than ever. Your video was a great help and very instructive.Thank you
Grabeng tutorial to walang ibang kwento focus lang sa mismong ginagawa good job sir!
You are not only a guitarist but really an intelligent person...kudos brother
Salamat Po! You’re the best person I’ve to reach the basics of measuring and fabrication of guitar parts. Many videos are extensive in description, but you lay out nice and simple for me! Sana masagana ang pag tae mou!
I have seen many videos similar to yours, however ,yours is the most understandable
This has to be one of the best videos on youtube. Detailed, perfect images (I needed to see that amount of sawdust or else I'd have been worried how much sanding I was doing to my saddle. And a free piece of essential software thrown in - in the shape of the calculator, you are a God amongst men.
Very informative as always. Thanks for this, Mark! -Ema May Celada
I agree, this is the best content for adjustment in KZread. Congratulations kapatid! Subscribed!
Thank you so much for this detailed explanation! I appreciate it.
Thank you this, finally understand the how to for the adjustment of high/low action.
Nice video man. I appreciate the time you put into it!
Thank you... you gave us a very technical and detailed explanation... God bless tou.
Yea, I've been tuning in since the first episode. Thanks for the content kuya. Pa shout-out next vid kuya, big fan here.
Great information. I started doing all my own guitar work, about 8 years ago. I would Add 1 thing = the usage of a Fret Rocker, if there is just a "trouble spot" and not affecting the Entire Guitar. Also when making Any adjustments - be sure to go Little-by-little. Enjoyed your video. Stay Safe. oNe LovE from NYC

This is very informative and helpful Mark. I love doing DYI and this gave me confidence to do my own guitar, well at least on my cheaper one's to start. You won a subscriber here bro and keep up the good work. Looking forward for new videos, Salamat ulit.
This is an extremely helpful video. What you show us is for some reason not very easy to find explained well on KZread.

Hi and thanks for this - I usually work on electrics, but I've been reconditioning a slightly beaten up acoustic for a child's Christmas present (his parents can't afford a new acoustic, and I had a couple hanging around) This was really helpful, especially the spreadsheet. Excellent explanation and clear steps. An old Encore has now got better action than my own Godin.
Wow really well done video! Helped me a lot thank you!
this video quality is so high ! Thanks bro !
Hey man! Great tips on guitar maintainence! Greetings from Singapore!

Aloha Mark, Awesome video! Nicely done. It's actually professional! I mean that. Thank you 🤙🏽
You just need to remove two times the amount of material on the saddle with however much you want to reduce the action at the 12th fret (e.g. you want to lower the action at the 12th by 2/64, then shave off 4/64 at the saddle)

Explained perfectly....this really was helpfull❤
My old guitar teacher use to say . "Never lower action on acoustic guitar , makes your fingers stronger if you have to press far . One day you will maybe own the ultimate axe , your fingers will say thankyou, now is time to relax . "

Wisdom right here. Unless action is a problem on your acoustic guitar, don't pussy out and just keep practicing and keep exsercising your fingers.

Playing the guitar shouldn't feel like lifting weights. So this statement is really untrue and un healthy, it might damage your hand in the long run.
Finally matagal ko na itong gustong malaman. Guitar action pala tawag dito. Kaya pala masakit ang ibang gitara laruin kasi mataas ang guitar action
Thank you. I have a Taylor 114e that I really like but the action is a little high for me. This will help out a lot.
The best tutorial on neck adjustment
best tutorial out there! thank youu
Lupet din mag edit. Angas talaga ng mga content mo idol.
Bakit ngayon ko lang ito nakita huhu dahil po sainyo kuya naayos ko guitar ko. Thank you so much po!!

Mas naintindihan ko to kesa sa ibang nasa yt thank you po
Thank you so much less gastos dahil dito ❤️❤️ have a nice day and God bless you
Thank you Mark.. great lesson.
salamat!!!, I've been using my acoustic guitar for almost 2 years, in-adjust ko na yung truss rod ko, mataas pa rin action, malaking tulong sa 'kin yung calculator thingy para sa desired action na gusto ko, siguro naman sapat na yung experience ko para bawasan na yung action ng gitara ko ngayon. nice video btw. 👍
Thanks for this tutorial.. Galing easy to understand.. :-)
Wow incredibly good. Thank you
