PERFECT JOLLOF RICE WITH PEPPERED BEEF
Just showing you how my make my Perfect Oven Baked Jollof Rice.
For this recipe, bear in mind, I used Basmati rice. Other rice type cooking time will vary. Also, if you’re using long grain rice, you’ll need to parboil your rice first to speed up the cooking time.
Ingredients:
3 cups Rice
3 Medium Size Red Bell Peppers (Tatashe)
1 can of Plum Tomatoes/ 4 Medium Tomatoes
3 Scotch Bonnet (Ata rodo)
1.5 Cup Beef or Chicken Stock or Water
100g Tomato Paste
2 Onions
150ml Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp Curry Powder
2 Tbsp seasoning or any seasons of your choosing
1.5 Tbsp White Pepper
1 Tbsp Thyme
Bay Leaves
Salt to taste

Gonna make this tomorrow for my dad, young brother and young sister. As the eldest child/son, I tend to do much of the cooking mainly because I had to learn how to do it from my mom and uncle. Hi, I’ve notice that I always follow the necessary steps and use the necessary ingredients for making jollof rice, but I never seem to achieve that PARTY JOLLOF TASTE, please help.
Well seasoned goatmeat, perfect jollof rice. I love how you boiled the tomato paste with some ingredients before adding to oil to fry. You are always informative and i love it.

How did it go in the microwave, pls share your experience. Thanks
@siletamus2016
Жыл бұрын
@@celestinaomobamibo745 thanks for asking. It didn't work unfortunately. I think I added too much water because it became all a bit marshy. We still ate it though. Why I think we added too much water is because we had leftover rice that we kept reheating to warm up but in the evaporate the water and left the rice nice and separate....
Do you have an recipe book published out. ?? I will like to purchase
