They should have a cruise where they just stay at CocoCay for 3 days! Give me 3 Sea Days on the Icon and 3 land days on CocoCay and I’m golden!

Watching this video about Perfect Day at CocoCay has me daydreaming of paradise! Royal Caribbean truly knows how to create the ultimate island getaway experience.

I think Royal made a good decision to add the adult only area. Looking forward to seeing it for myself.

I was just at Coco Cay last week, this was my second time going I had a 6 day on Adventures of the Seas, I booked the new Hideaway adults only beach area and man I will say they did it up right, loved it, plenty of beach chairs , I will say they need to add a few more waiters , the one that was working our section did pretty good but could have used some help, outside of that everything was perfect, the pool is plenty big and the drinks were awesome, Hideaway Huts food was fresh and hot and hit the spot, will definitely book it in November when I go on Utopia of the Seas!!

Here's a little thing I learned from my last visit there. Since the Island is owned by Royal. If you have the internet package, you can actually use their internet on the island! So if you want to stream some of the fun you are doing, show your family why they should of came with you, or just relax on the hammock and watch a video or 2. Just make sure not to take your phone off airplane mode! XD

the fact that royal caribbean charges so much and has everything else for an extra cost is mind blowing

Especially for families. I have a big household, and the main cruise package price alone is super expensive! Never mind an excursion or extras.

So true, but I have been to Cococay 15 times in the last 2 yrs and only paid for extras 1 time ($100 for the coco beach club) There is so many included activities/food options to choose from I still don't feel the need to pay anything extra

No I haven't been to Thrill waterpark - but that's because I have annual passes to Volcano Bay, Aquatica, and Disney water parks.. If you don't live in an area that has many water parks - perhaps try it out - I haven't heard anything bad about it. @@LordHotcakes

I think Royal needs to seriously consider more transparent, consistent pricing for Perfect Day add-ons. I am planning a visit in 2025. It's hard to budget for Perfect Day or even to know which sailing to choose when you can't see the prices.

Contact a travel agent. They have access to a Royal Caribbean agent site that allows them to view a pre cruise planner for any sailing and should be able to tell you what the current rate is for stuff on a specific sailing. If you are looking at something 18-24+ months out some of the info may not be posted yet, but regardless it’s a great tool for what you’re talking about.

We were at Perfect Day 2 weeks agoaand alll excursios were canceled due to high winds, but WOS did dock as well as Oasis of the Seas. It wasn't too crowded and we just hung out at Chill Island. Plenty of seating. Chilled Grill was great, too!!!

@@theresanyamekye Yes, they refunded it as an onboard credit. They don't refund it back to the credit card. I was able to use it to spend on shopping at their $12 sale.

Our cruise destination was changed from Labadee to CoCoCay due to the stuff going on in Haiti and I'm even more excited now. They also added Nassau as another port instead of a day at sea!

We were there last month with Royal Caribbean odyssey of the sea, totally beautiful and well worth it.

I love Coco Cay , I went there in October on Harmony of the Sea and I’m going back in November on Wonder of the Sea, best port I’ve been to, me and the wife hung out in South Beach area

Matt, here are two observations: [1] This island looks very much like Icon of the Seas (e.g., distinctive neighbourhoods; variety of bars and restaurants; many slides and pools, etc.) except that the island has many more square feet per guest. . . [2] ironically, the fact that so many people go ashore on port-days is one of the wonderful benefits for the few that stay on a cruiseship whenever it docks. I also think that there are more food-options and beverages on the ships than on any of the land-based venues....Truly, a Royal Caribbean/Holland America/Carnival or similar type/size of modern cruise-ship is a multifaceted destination in itself....

Thanks for this video, taking my cruise with my son in July. I was wondering what are we going to do but now i see it's plenty to do aside from the excursions. Thought i had to do excursions or they would be nothing to do

In May will be back on cococay and at one point the beach club was run $ 340. Now it’s costing $270 each. Once we gave $180 and I thought that was too much. RC is very proud of their beaches😂

Unfortunately we went to coco cay last week and got evacuated from the island! We were pretty bummed but we still get to spend a few hours there.

Matt, I have visited Coco Cay back when it was just a relaxing private island destination before the pier and all the different island experiences were created. Basically, before Coco Cay was turned into a version of an Atlantis waterpark. I feel something was lost when RCCL added so much to the island. I visited Hideaway Beach at Coco Cay the 2nd day it was opened for paying cruise passengers earlier this month. Was it fun? Absolutely! I kept thinking though the whole time this energy & fun should be in the pool area of a cruise ship vs the island. I've visit MSC's Ocean Cay twice in the last year and it reminds me of Coco Cay before all the changes. Far more tranquil and quieter. I do realize though just from observation that Coco Cay evolution has been a success for Royal Caribbean with cruise passengers. However, I'm looking forward to seeing Labadee in April as it looks far more relaxed than Coco Cay is now.

Great video! Is thrilled water park worth it? We are sealing in June on Allure of the seas and the ship doesn't have any water slides. My boys love water parks so we are thinking of getting it, just don't know if is worth it based on their high prices.

Do all of the cabanas include wait/bar service? Will they come to you and take your drink orders?

Are all bars included with the premium drink package?

Does the unlimited dining package cover the wings at Captain Jacks?

What are the prices for water park and other things not included?

Curious if anybody saw the KZreadr MrBeast when he went to different islands. No surprise perfect day what is the most expensive at 250 million He rented the island for a video shoot. they even kept it open at night for him and his friends. First time I ever saw anybody at the island and water park at night it looked awesome.

Hideaway Beach is lovely, but if I have my kids, I'd pick Oasis Lagoon!

I heard from a few peeps that the drinks are on the "just a wee bit of alcohol" but around $14 (18% mandatory tip not included). Is this true? And how much soda comes out of the machine? I heard Souvenir cup only holds 1.5 cups, and the machine stops at 2 cups. Anyone know for sure?

Isn't "Perfect Day at CocoCay" supposed to rhyme? Like that's sort of the whole point of the phrase?

Hi, I have questions about our Kayaking tour we booked. Who can I ask?

How wheelchair accessible is CocoCay? The Straw Market looks like it is all sand. Is the balloon accessible? In fact, it looks like you have to go through sand to get almost anywhere.

I’ve never understood why if all of the food on Coco Cay comes from the ships why can’t we get the snack shack chicken sandwich on the ship? 😭

Can you get a cruise that goes to CocoCay and just stays there for like a week or something?

You mentioned that the swim up bar at South Beach costs extra. I could not find a price for this on the RC site. Do you actually have to pay money to swim out there and use the bar? Does the drink package work at that swim up bar? It does not look like something that should cost extra.

Those beds and cabanas are a bit too close together for my liking to make them worth the money. Not to mention having two rows means the ones in the back will have very obstructed views.

Probably 10-15 mins each way. There is a shuttle that would help cut that down (minus time waiting for the shuttle each way)

Just even changing the rhyme would help clear this up. Royal Caribbean causes extra issue with the name here. Coco Cay the place to be, or Coca Cay Perfect Dey. Anythjng would be more clear than what we have now. Tourists come with the marketing of Coco Cay perfect day, only to hear locals say key, only to be corrected by others when getting back home. All the fault of RC marketing.
