Music like this was done with MIDI tracks, it's not as prominent these days, but as a kid who grew up in the 90s, this speaks to me.

Always loved the deep bass in this games soundtrack.

I dunno why but i find this pause theme more haunting than goldeneye.

Run The Jewles EL-P type beat

Hopefully it comes out again on switch too like GoldenEye.

It definitely has a chance even though we would need to rebind the controls just like we've seen with Goldeneye. I don't mind that though since the control schemes in both Perfect Dark and Goldeneye are identical

It might not, but if it does, MS will probably pull the same thing Nintendo did with GoldenEye and lock the online multiplayer to Xbox consoles.

goldeneye is not overhyped. It gets the love it deserves. Perfect dark is underrated though

A LOT of what went into Perfect Dark were things they wanted to do in GoldenEye but MGM told them no because they considered them not appropriate for the Bond license. Not being allowed to do some of the cool things they came up with had a large hand in Perfect Dark being developed.

Without Goldeneye, There is no Perfect Dark. Goldeneye was a great game and because of that Perfect Dark was able to exceed expectations and then some due to the ground work that was laid out by Goldeneye. The soundtracks made the games into something much much more. Pretty much like the original Halloween. Without that damn good soundtrack the movie would probably be just and average run of the mill horror movie but that soundtrack pushed into a classic (IMHO). Much love to 2 of the best games ever put out on the N64.
