As a non-medical person, this is was so interesting! Crazy how people are able to visualize our organs through touch 👏
@mrgrimmer7997

Its actually done through sound not touch. He can tell where organs lie based on the sound tapping the area produces.
The students who get to learn from such a teacher are so freaking lucky.salute u sir👩🏻⚕️
Currently learning how to percuss for nursing school. With all the online learning this has been a Godsend to understand percussion better.
This videos about physical examination are great for the medical students!! Thanks from Colombia.

These videos have inspired me to improve my bedside clinical skills. I now understand how much more work i need. Thank you :)
thanks for uploading all these online Stanford. I saved a lot of money by not actually going to medical school
Excellent! The clearest explanation of the lobe anatomies ever!
I'm in nursing school and they made this big deal about the Bates videos that they got us access to. This is much better than those. In the Bates video on percussion, the narrator is talking over the percussion and you can't hear it.
One of the best videos out there, thanks for your help! A medical student from Dubai.
Really this channel is standard learning of medical examination. Thanks you all doctors. INDIA

The logic behind it isn’t complicated at all. Lungs are meant to be occupied by air. If you tap and it sounds dull, it means the regularly air filled space is occupied by something else, like liquid, which is not normal.

Great video on proper technique. So important to understand the anatomy and technique of percussion before trying to differentiate sounds.
Leopold also came up with maneuvers to feel a fetus and the position of the fetus in the womb. Leopolds Maneuvers or Hands procedures, but they are not often practiced as reliance on technology has grown and being hands on is not practiced as much. In my opinion I feel touch and physical touch through laying of the hands, 🙌🏽 palpating and percussion is so much more valuable and tells us more and is more intimate and personal than technology.
this has been of great help to me. thank you

It's keloid and it's 'normal' for people who have the genes for it. That doesn't look like a stitch from a stab at all.
