Volume One of ”Bag Of Trix” is released on 30th October and consists of 12 songs recorded over a 30-year period: from the demo of ”Like Lovers Do” recorded during an early pre-recording session for Roxette’s debut album ”Pearls Of Passion” in the summer of 1986, to the new single ”Let Your Heart Dance With Me” which was a leftover from the ”Good Karma” recordings in 2016.
Per Gessle met up with Sven to talk about a few of the tracks on the album.

It was the Roxette song that Marie most enjoyed to sing live, as said by herself. And yes, this song live in concert was really explosive!

You can tell Marie really let loose with the vocals on "Soul Deep". I'm glad we get to hear it (on all versions of this song). ❤️ And yes, Per, fortunately for everyone, you definitely gave us more hit songs than misses. 😉 👍

Remembering listening to Dangerous on a Bicycle with a Battery Casette Player. I was sitting on the Luggage Rack on the Back while my best Friend was speeding away on the Schoolyard driving Circles like crazy. Good Memories. Even better with Roxette. Thanks for the good Music Marie and Per :-). Kicks me right back into Time when i hear that Song. It´s pure gold. So well produced.

For me, Roxette was the soundtrack to my youth ie 10 and under
Fell in love with Soul Deep from when i first heard it on Joyride. Great song and really showcases Maries vocals! Missing you Marie.

Per says the remix has been in the closet up until now... Well, not at all. It was released on the CD single of "Church of Your Heart" back in 1992.

To me, the PoP version wins out to the Joyride one, but yes, this song was even better live.
I love the song "Soul Deep" it's definitely a different sound for the album (of course I started with the "Joyride" version).
