I remember playing the section with the large can for like 30 minutes and my friend lost his mind due to the repeating "PEPSI MAAAAAAN". good times

The Pepsi document arin talks about is the breathtaking document and it's fucking insane. There's a part where it breaks down the human needs of hunger and love and compare it to the Pepsi colors. They say that the swoosh in the logo is like the geomagnetism of a planet. It is notable that it wasn't created by Pepsi themselves but rather their advertising firm which is way funnier because it means all the psychobabble in it is what convinced pepsi of the documents efficacy. Lemon Demon also made a song based on the document called Redesign Your Logo which was a spirit phone demo and had a really cool music video premiered only at a concert.

I absolutely love the idea from the first level, of this mascot superhero that can supposedly fill all the vending machines to save the poor thirsting people. but instead he rushes there with superhuman speed just to get the last can

This is the funniest episode of Game Grumps in a long time. I'm in tears over Arin's sobbing immediately followed by an enraged "NO!" out of nowhere. xD

We started reaching "Dan calling Arin 'Big Cat'" levels of rage.

This is one of those classic Grump moments in history when Arin is unable to pass a simple level like running away from the Pepsi can... all because he literally forgot he could *move the character* around!

We need a NSP Pepsi Man cover. On repeat. For 8 hours.

The thing I love about that mention of the audio after 7:34 is that it was not an audio glitch, that's the actual real audio, if they played it on original hardware the audio is exactly the same it's that terrible 🤣 and you cannot go without noticing and questioning if that is a glitch or what that's the real audio.

Because I was curious, I went to see if Pepsiman has an article on the Heroes Wiki, and sure enough, he does. Apparently, Pepsiman was created by a scientist named "Satoru Shujinko", who accepted the power of the "Holy Pepsi" into his heart. And this was a transformation that he underwent, like, he was originally a person and mutated into Pepsiman. It goes on to say that he works at the Pepsi headquarters of Japan, and since he just runs to people who're thirsty and gives them Pepsi, I guess he's kinda like a delivery man? And what's the "Holy Pepsi" and what is its power? It just... sounds so silly. But then again, this guy did originate from Japan, and Japan _is_ known to invent some pretty outlandish and weird stuff (especially in their commercials), so I can believe that they're the ones who invented this mascot. Also, Pepsiman is "made of durable sheets of shiny aluminum", as in, that's literally what his body is comprised of (so it's not a bodysuit or anything), and his enemies are Coca-Cola and Mentos. Seems legit.

Pepsi is diuretic because of the caffeine so it will actively make you dehydrated, along with the diabetes.

Had this playing while cooking and can confirm that the sound of the pepsiman song with the sound of sausage and potatoes cooking is almost enough to put you in sensory overload. Now I just need to calm down with the refreshing taste of an ice cold Pepsi

I wish they'd come back to this and finish it. Also 25:15 - 29:28 is pretty much the reason why Arin thinks the Crash Bandicoot games suck, and half the reason why we'll never see a Game Grumps playthrough of any of the Crash games (the other half of the reason being that Arin doesn't want to make fun of a game series that people grew up with playing, but he didn't grow up with).

I remember watching the original Grumpcade playthrough of this game, and how incredibly pissed this game made Ross + Jimmy - can't wait to see Arin + Dan break things in anger over Pepsi Man
