Cool! I've had my Quaker now for almost 24 years! Love her dearly!

When they get al puffy like that it's a sign that they are happy and feel safe and secure. It's the same with all parrots. I have a Quaker myself, he's a 'rescue' bird who was literally picked off a street in the rain. He'd have died out there, alone in the wet and cold. We're so glad to have him. He's all better now and a total 'love sponge'. His name's "Gif", short for "Gift from God".

I've had Quakers most of my life. My peanut was 27 when she died ofcancer. I now have my parents Quaker she is about 22. I have cancer so this will be my last. Just wanted to say so cute. I enjoyed watching this.

That is not a bird, that is an angel, they bring so much joy to our lives...

I have a blue one named sonny.Hes part of the family now.Unreal smart and he makes everyone in this house laugh something crazy! He knows all 5 of us by name and never shuts up! He demands to be in the same room as everyone else ,even during dinner.best 500 bucks i ever spent!

His "come here" is exactly like my Quaker Parrot, Salt's, "come here". Also Peppy's "wait wait wait" is like my bird's "meow meow meow". Also, his non-sense gibberish is exactly like mine. I love Quaker Parrots!

Im really sorry for you're lost i hope your feeling great tho,But remember he/she is in a better place with god you shouldn't miss him he's in a much better place!

My Meyer's Parrot and I LOVE watching Peppy! No matter what's going on around us we can count on Peppy making us laugh! I especially love when he says "pooooopie!" He is too cute-cute!

What a little sweety.I wish I could give him a kiss 💋..I had a little Quaker girl named Ollie and I lost her when she was only 6 yrs old to a horrible illness called Bornavirvus. She had seizures and after a while the medicine didn’t work any longer.She was soooo very sweet just like pep pee .The place where I purchased her never tested her parents and the virvus was passed on to her from one parent.She fought to live and I tried sooo hard to save her but even 4,800.00 could not save her little life.Shes now my dear little soul. I want to thank you for bringing me pep pee .Your pep pee brings back fond memories of her and how she loved to have her little head scratched. Bless you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know it hurts like hell.

I think my quaker is in love with Peppy. She's 9 years old this summer. Everytime I watch this with her she loves to kiss me and play peek a boo. Her longest sentence that she says is "You can eat breakfast." She loves breakfast. lol I'm trying to teach her some other words and phrases with your video. Peppy is adorable.

I am listening to your quaker Peppy talk with my two quakers. They are REALLY listening carefully! They are reacting alittle, but mostly listening. They do not talk. One of them is trying to talk to Peppy now!! SO funny. I do not work with my birds on talking. They DO understand alot though. Someone told me that it works to have them visit birds that do talk and they will start. Peppy is great! We will watch again.

My beautiful quaker, Lucy, and I are in love with Peppy! He has become one of our favorite passtimes...when Lucy starts squaking, I put her on my laptop and play this video for her, over and over!! She has also added "come 'ere" and "see ya later" to her vocabulary thanks to Peppy! Thank you Peppy's mommy, from Lucy's mommy! Hope all is well with you both!

It's a very nice bird I have a Quaker Parrot that will blow your mind with a 50+ vocabulary I would love to show you someday. They are so smart, people don't realize how smart they really are.Thanks for sharing.

I love my sweet Quaker, except the “love Bites”, occasionally. I have spent at least 2 to 3 hours a day working on sentences that the other quakers are saying. We’ve made up a few of our own. He used to answer me when I asked What’s a pig say? Now he just repeats it back to me. He used to say peekaboo, animal sounds, and insert noises into certain songs. I had a dog named Abby who assed away in September. She was 17. He would still call her and whistle for her, after she was gone. I told him Abby is gone, went bye bye. He is not in his cage when I am home. He has 3 different areas to play in, but a lot of the time I have the cage near me and he eats and drinks, then will hop on my shoulder. I know he loves me. I am definitely his person. What is it, do you think, that keeps him so quiet?

I like to check out bird rescue shelters. Got 2 parrotlets at humane society! $75 for cage & a free checkup! Many homeless cuties. And some talk! My shelter cockatiel talked in the box! Talks alot!!

Parrots and parrakeets learn from repetition. They hear something repeated to them over and over and then they say it. After that, it might only be the once - as soon as they start talking, some do not shut up! LOL The fiirst 2 words my budgie said was "bugga off'' and he LAUGHED (I have a video up). This parrot in the vid has an amazing vocabulary. He's awesome!
