Yup. Peppa Pig. We're doing this folks! No, this isn't really a rant about Peppa. In truth, I like Peppa Pig (unironically). I don't watch it in my free time, but I enjoy its writing and it makes me laugh sometimes. My name is Aloubell and I am a hobbyist digital artist as well as a published children's book author. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, and, thanks to the Lord, my art journey continues! As a Christian, I give full acknowledgement that all success I get from art and life in general is thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm proud to say He has helped make each and every art piece of mine possible.
My dream is to have a career where I can be creative. This KZread channel is a means in which I can achieve that dream!
I have a lot to talk about whether it be anime, cartoons, books, or just me retelling stories from my own life.
I'm very much still learning how to be better as an artist, so I appreciate your support on my journey!

@@TheArtisticAloubell Yes, what does bothers me is the fact that she show was supposed to be educational, but not once they tell Peppa that "Don't say that Peppa" or "Now it's not the time Peppa"
In my opinion, Peppa is a kid's show that shows how kids actually are, mischievous and really not aware of what they speak. In an educational way, no, but in a realistic way, yes. Peppa pig is like 'everything is fine ' but like a happy version of it. Like the dream where people finally live with their children happily but with them being controlled. Anyways, love you aloe

🐷The thing I really have a problem with when it comes to Peppa Pig is the messages the show sends to children. Peppa, the main character, is often very rude. Along with the town's narrator being like how you said, there are several small messages that are definitely not the best for an impressionable child's mind.

You do have a point, but there are worse shows that send worse messages out there. Sophia the first always kind of bugged me, it looks cute when you see adds and stuff but when you actually watch an episode it's kind of cringey. If you want something perfectly neutral and doesn't send any kind of bad messages, I recommend "Scaredy Squirrel", "Shaun the sheep/Wallace & Gromit", and "Peep & the Big Wide World". Peep and the big wide world is literally about a baby chicken and her two other bird friends discovering the world around them. It has no bad messages, no gender stereotypes, no politics, no fowl language, no dirty jokes, no bodyshaming, no sex jokes, just 3 baby birds discovering the world! There's literally an episode where Peep plants a seed.

I like to imagine that everyone in the show are descendants of regular human beings that got involved in some sort of disaster that caused them to fuse with different animals and stuff (with the exception of the Queen of England - who was probably well-protected). They then took on the names of the animals they morphed into as their last names (idk about their first name). For example, someone that turned into a pig will have pig as their last name. 🐷 So, since they were once humans, they kept human traditions and - like you mentioned - nursery rhymes!

Since it's a baby show, I don't like to look into it too deep but that's hilarious! LOL ^o^ What are your other theories? I'm curious to know if you have any other theories for kids cartoons. To be honest, I think it was just a cute and silly way to teach little kids who the Queen is. I'm an American who wants to be a children's book author and writer for children's cartoons, so I pay close attention to this kind of stuff. In America, literally everyone hates the president while UK people show the Queen way more respect and love, as she deserves. I mean, royalty is not the same as a president. Plus, she's been the Queen for so many years. They want their kids to know who Queen Elizabeth is, at a young age, but if us Americans put Donald Trump or Joe Biden in a kids cartoon it be ridiculous.
Yes finally someone brings up Madame Gazelle being a Vampire and the Halloween isn't the only time it's hinted at there's the episode where this huuge tree is pushing her house to point it's leaning and she claims not to notice/care until it's brought to her attention bc it was such a long time ago that she planted it and explains it used to be small potted Christmas tree via flashback (where she looks exactly the same per usual) and this tree is huge bigger than her house the amount of time it would have taken to grow that big and the fact she didn't notice is a) ludicrous and b) seems rather strong evidence she's immortal 🐷

Don’t worry too much about the fears being “childish.” I’m not exactly an adult yet (though I will be in less than a year), but I still experience supernatural paranoia at least once a year. I also suffer from having weekly nightmares that regularly mess with my sleep schedule, even when I’m not experiencing paranoia. Watching children’s shows is one way I coped with the paranoia, and even when I’m not feeling anxious, I just like watching them for the sake of nostalgia and getting those sweet, sweet endorphins. Watching children’s shows as an older person is becoming a little more socially acceptable, and I’m glad about that.

God, I used to look up comps of Peppa Pig episodes and watch them religiously back when I discovered KZread lol. I only stopped because I accidentally saw the thumbnail of a creepypasta video and it left me scarred enough that I was afraid of the dark for months. I feel like shows like Peppa Pig with no real continuity and made to go on forever would indeed have that sort of unsettling feeling, because everything *needs* to stay the same, no one can leave or else there will be continuity even if vaguely, which… is a very morbid concept, I imagine the writers noticed this and played into the "probably a cult" idea. Though I never noticed that the narrator does feel very, well, I dunno how to describe it but like, out of place? It does feel very Stanley Parable-y with its omnipresent kind of power/presence. Okay, that's enough ranting about a preschooler show lmao.

🐷 Tbh Peppa Pig is an average kids’ show for me, neither I or my siblings watched it that much as children but it does its job at delivering the characters, storylines and jokes in it The only problem I have with it is that Peppa and George both act bratty on multiple occasions and are bad role models for kids that watch them. The main example for this is how they often talk to their dad, insulting him for his weight and treating him with no respect, and Mommy Pig and even Daddy Pig himself just let them do it. They also are pretty spoiled kids for me because of how permissive their parents are, buying them everything and never scolding them, and that is also a bad example for children by telling them they can do and get whatever they want and never fear consequences. I’m not saying their parents should be hitting them or yelling at them, but authoritative parenting is very important when you’re raising a child: you should be an authority and punish them when they do wrong, but also play, listen to them, take them seriously and give them their space, because you’re still the most important adult figure in their lives and they should feel safe and loved around you. Okay that was longer than it should have been so I’ll wrap it up here- great video as always Alou!

They have multiple similarities including but not limited to a white girl with blue pigtails being the main character, a three-colored magical object which is necessary to solve the daily problems, an overall theme of threes, an anthropomorphic animal sidekick who talks, and a mentor character who shows up every episode to help the main characters solve the problem of the day. Thank you so much for watching! 😁 And Peppa can be a bit rude, but I don't think it happens often enough for her to be unlikeable. At least not for me. And I really don't have much to say about Adventure Time. I'm just not particularly interested in talking about it. Lucid nightmares....are the worse. Its the curiosity. Its like feeling like you're doing something exciting and not mundane. You should wake up. You know you can (aside from sleep paralysis) but you just...don't want to. It takes a shock or revelation in the dream to convince me to want out but those moments when your body is numb and won't respond. It feels like drowning. It's not the dream/nightmare that gets you. Ik everyone is saying this, but I watched Peppa Pig tons growing up. Even as a kid though, I was definitely confused by some of these things but I found them more funny so I never questioned them a lot. It is funny to think that behind the scenes, Peppa Pig is actually like the Truman Show, just a bit more different where more than one person wants out of the little bubble of their hometown only for something or someone else to stop them. Or TPN so a lesser scale; the only reason I thought of that was Esmond Elephant and how he reminds me of Phil. Both around 4 and despite having their differences, notices the little cracks in their seemingly perfect world and knows too much, which adults don't or wouldn't like, to the point it could get them in trouble (whether that be death or not depends on which show we're talking about). Still, it's a pretty great show for little kids besides the treatment of Daddy Pig, plus the Scottish version online is pretty funny even though it's a massive stereotype. But if you do enjoy Peppa Pig, please check out Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, Nanny Plum is one of the best characters and other than that, all I can remember is jelly from the show. It's made and voiced by the same people who did Peppa so you're bound to get a kick out of hearing the same voices from Peppa's anthropomorphic animals to fairies and elves :)

THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABOUT THIS I always wanted someone to talk about these details, I watched peppa pig when I was 4 to 6 with my cousins, we eventually stopped watching it because we were stupid kids and one day my cousin was like “let’s stop watching peppa pig, it has pigs and pigs aren’t halal” and younger me agreed so we stopped watching peppa pig I hated the show because my younger sister started to watch it and I noticed how peppa was rude and bratty in certain episodes but I was intrigued of certain episodes But I have noticed small things like these like why is the queen a human? Ms. Rabbit is the only one who does almost every job in world, ms. Gazelle being a vampire and sometimes somewhat suspicious And I once saw someone making a theory on TikTok of peppa pig that wasn’t like some made up conspiracy Like they mentioned how all the alive sentient animals are mammals, but then we have that alligator or crocodile from the zoo episode like- it doesn’t make sense But I want people to discuss more of the lore of peppa pig Also the parents and grandparents names, they don’t even have proper names only the kids do but I knew that was because of the writing Sadly for some of these questions I don’t think the writers considered, it’s a kid show without proper morals in some of these episodes, just these silly talking animals doing kiddish or human things

KZread is the platform of RELATIVLEY free expression 🤣 thats hilarious I feel your pain! In second grade my friend told me a story and said at the end it was a dream but that fought never left my mind. It was a scary story about a girl in the bathroom who appears behind you in a mirror and nowww I'm scared of every reflective surfice and for a while I couldn't sleep without the TV on! (The only reason I can now is because our TV broke and I had no choice for a month) now I find the light of the TV annoying at night 😆
Dear goodness, this show, I remember my nephew adored it and I'd end up watching with him just to turn around and find out I'd be watching for hours by myself, it got so bad I almost started building weird headcanons about the story of the show, like, how human kind was almost wipped out by climate change except for the higger class and they'd end up generically modifying animals to serve them and it was so weird.

My Peppa Pig theories, part 2! (I’m FarFromMercury, just on a different account) How can Miss Rabbit be everywhere at once? Why is George’s name the odd one out? Why are the adults so dumb? (Well that’s a little mean, i’m sorry adults-) But they act dumb when they have to do something else. In that one episode where the pig family builds a colourful wardrobe/shelf thing, you’d think the shelf would stay in their bedroom for all the episodes, right? If so, where is it? Did they put it in their storage?
It's surprisingly funny. The humor is very deadpan.

As much as I enjoy Peppa pig, the message it sends to little kids is not really okay. Peppa is often rude to Daddy pig and her little brother, George. Peppa's and Suzie's friendship was REALLY toxic, and Peppa is just spoiled. Yes, she's a child, but her behaviour is influencing thousands of kids. I’ve never had a paralysis dream, but after learning that my last house was haunted and living currently in a very old house, even though I know that God will protect me if I believe in him, I still don’t like sitting in the quiet, light or dark.
